"OH MY GOD? Arielle is that you?" I hear Trevor's familiarly joyful voice appear behind me.He quickly caught up to my pace, greeting me with a warm hug. "No, it's Barney." I squinted my eyes sarcastically, making him laugh.
"Aw my childhood!" He replied melodramatically, politely opening the gymnasium door for me.
"What's up Trevor?" I couldn't help but yawn since I'm always tired for no reason.
"How come you've been missing practice? Everyone has been looking for you, especially Logan." Trevor grinned at me as he nudged my shoulder playfully.
"Wait what? Logan?" I raised my eyebrows at him, pretty sure he meant to say Levi.
"Yea Logan! Literally every 5 minutes, when's Arielle coming back? When's Arielle gonna come? Have any of you guys talked to Arielle lately?" Trevor imitated Logan's deep voice, causing me to let out a loud cackle.
But I thought Logan had a girlfriend?
"Wait, but Logan has a girlfriend?" I furrowed my eyebrows at him in confusion.
"Yea he did, but he finally learned how much of a conniving little-don't wanna say it, she really is. He found out that she literally banged 3 guys in the football team while they were dating." He snorted, trying his hardest to hold in a laugh. "And at the same time! It's so gross! They triple penetrated her." I quickly winced in disgust.
What the hell, how can one even be triple penetrated?
I furrowed my eyebrows even deeper. "Who would cheat on Logan? He's like perfect."
"That's what I was thinking! But hey, he wasn't the only one missing you though." He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows at me.
"Levi and I are only friends. We specifically made it clear that we would have no strings attached, plus I don't even think he likes me that much." I explained, seeing his mouth suddenly widen.
"What does that even mean?" Trevor just awkwardly raised an eyebrow at me.
"I don't know. It's weird." I casually shrugged. "We're just together without a label."
"That the weirdest thing I've ever heard. You guys would've been perfect though, that sucks!" Trevor pursed his lips in disappointment, causing me to roll my eyes at him.
"Well anyways, I have something to tell you, please don't get mad." I subtly gritted my teeth, figuring out how to say what I was gonna say in the most polite manner.
"Ok, what's up?"
OH SHIT?
WHAT DO I SAY?
WHAT IF HE ENDS UP NOT BEING MY FRIEND ANYMORE?
OH NO ANXIETY!
"The reason why I've been missing practice is because I switched to The Stingrays, and I'm so sorry if it seems like I betrayed you guys! I'm so sorr-" His voice quickly interrupted me.
"THATS AMAZING!"
I furrowed my eyebrows rapidly in confusion. "Wait, what?"
