Unconditional Love

chapter 6

(Shai pov)

I wake up with a warm sensation in chest. I blink a couple times not moving, gaining back my memory of last night. I can feel his lips on mine and even though it was only for like three seconds, it still felt like forever to me.

I feel strong arms tightly wound around me, almost as if they were protecting me from whatever the world can do. I turn around and face theo. His eyes lightly closed, mouth parted.

I guess it was too late before i could even notice i was on the edge of the bed, i fall of the side making a loud thump noise. The bed dips down and the sound of the comforters being pushed off fill the room. I see theo's head pop up.

"Are you alright Shai?" He asks with laughter filling his voice. I can't help but giggle too. "Yea, im fine" i try my best to contain my laughter but it eventually spills out and echoes the room. He lends me his hand and i take it. I feel sparks from his touch. Not only does he pull me onto the bed but also pulls me into his chest.

"Hungry?" He asks me "starving." I reply. Only he didn't know that I wasn't actually starving for food... i was starving for his love. He chuckles, i feel his chest vibrating. "Any recommendations?"

"What?" He asks me. I give him a confused look. "Did you just say me?" "Shai?" I don't know how to respond to be honest. I regret for thinki-saying that out loud.

Heat rises to my cheeks. His arms tug me closer. "Shai, i want you too. When Ruth cheated on me, i was actually kind of relieved... i know it sounds kind of mean and crazy but i was trying to think of ways I could break things off with her. I have to admit it was surprising, that's why i came to you."
