Unconditional Love

chapter 5

(shai pov)

i hop off the counter to give Theo space since he just got a call from his ex girlfriend that he broke up with just yesterday. thoughts keep flooding into my head of the moment we just had. his lips fit perfectly on mine. i cant help but know that i am in love with Theo James.

Theo comes into the living room not even a minute later joining me on the couch. "hey" he says looking irritated "hi" i try not to sound worried. i guess i failed because he gives me a reassuring look. "Ruth wants to get back together" i feel like my heart just dropped a million stories down as he says those words. he notices because he takes my and and rubs his thumb over my knuckles "shai, will you do the honors and go to dinner with me?"

i grin and nod my head "i would love to" i croak out. my heart still feels like it was ripped piece by piece.

Theo went back to his room to put on something nice to wear. he told me to wear something pretty but not elegant. i slip on a flowy tan dress with little purple flowers everywhere and ends just above my knees. i slip on some cute flipflops that are weaved on the bottom where my feat go and the bands are tan. i walk over to the bathroom to do my hair. i end up with my hair braided across my head to look like a headband. i stand in front of the body length mirror and i actually look pretty cute.

i walk out the door to meet theo in the hallway. he is wearing a blue button up shirt, some jeans and some vans. "you look beautiful" he eyes me up and down while smiling. its so easy for me to picture us as a couple. "you look handsome, theo" i say and give him a huge smile. he bends down and gives me a kiss on the lips. there go the sparks again i get them every time our lips meet. i pull back and loop my arm in his and off we go.

after we finish our dinner Theo takes my hand across the table "shai, will you be my girlfriend?" he asks me. my heart literally exploded when he asked me that. "yes, Theo, yes!" he gives me a huge smile and pays the bill. after we leave we go straight to his hotel room and we sit on the couch. i look Theo in the eyes as he does the same. he cups my cheeks and kisses me softly. it turns out to be a full make out session on his couch. i pull away and lean my head on his shoulder. i yawn. then theo yawns. i giggle. "im tired im gonna go to sleep". "okay, ill take the floor." he says. " um, theo?" i ask softy. "yea?" he says while yawning. "can you sleep in bed with me?" i ask hoping that he wont think its weird. "sure" and with that we crawl to bed and i fall asleep in his arms.
