The Madrigal Concert.  Considered to be the most prestigous recital for the outstanding music students in town.

Musical Arts professors gather their prime students to showcase their outstanding skill in music either through their vocal chords or through an instrument of their choice. Though the event organizer expressed that the concert is just a mere showcase of great talents, one cannot deny the tension between the students to gain the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stand on stage.

The event is also popular to a lot of influential and elite personalities since it's a perfect avenue for them to flaunt their millions by donating large amounts to their chosen university.  This is the reason why even the heads of each university can not hide their competitive spirit when it comes to the selection of the best of the best.

Tonight, the Madrigal Concert has reserved the most enormous stadium that stands in the center of the city's plaza.  The Asde Centris Arena is busy welcoming guests in the grandest event of the year.  People wearing their most eloquent dresses and suits trickle in as ushers assist them to their assigned seats.

Backstage.  Students are busy preparing for their performance.  Some are getting made up, some trying on their outfits, some tuning their instruments and some...

"Where is she?!" Professor Evans is practically burning lines with someone on the phone. "If you don't bring her here right now, I swear I'll burn this stadium down!  Tell her to get her act together!" He cut off the line immediately.

It's only two hours before the show and the star of his division has not yet arrived.  Carla Williams.  A seasoned pianist.  Daughter of CEO of William Corp,  Emer Williams.  He swore if only her father wasn't one of the most powerful in town, he would be swatting her beautiful face straight up.  So much with rich kids.

But he knew Carla was not at all bratty.  Professor Evans knew she went through something and it nearly became the death of her for the past few days based on how she was missing practices and all.  He knows life can be a bitch but it's no time to dwell on the past.  They have a show to run.  Carla is his best student and he cannot afford to let the world know of such great talent.

After half an hour, a car parked outside the Performer's Entrance.  "Oh! Thank God you've arrived!" Professor Evans literally dashed to the car to pull out his star.

"Sorry, I'm late."  She said weakly.  "I have to take care of something."  She went down her car with the most hurried expression but you can still feel the least enthusiastic spirit. Tugging along her is her personal assistant, Tanya.

Professor Evans waved his hands as if swatting a fly. "No time for that dear.  Now, we got to get you made up!"   As they enter the Dressing Room, a beauty team immediately sprung to action.  They only have 30 minutes left before show time.

Professor Evans released a sigh of relief and moved close to Tanya.  "Where the hell were you guys?" He whispered.

"It took us a while to track her sir.  We thought we couldn't make it.  Fortunately, she came back on her own telling everyone to hurry here.  She's such a strange girl." Tanya answered beyond earshot.

"I see."  He responded.  "Thank you for your help."  But he knew there was something else.  As a musical professor, he knew that Carla's music was always her way of expressing what she couldn't say.  That's the most thing he hated about his best student.  Great pianist but never a conversationalist.  Music was always her passion…and her escape.

"I'm ready." Carla soflty expressed.  She stood there wearing a sexy strapless long gown with a heart-shaped neckline accentuated with a beautiful beaded top bodice and sexy tulle overlay A-line skirt. Her hair was neatly made into soft waves excluding a young goddess feel.  Everyone was breathless.
