So here is is! Chapter 4, caution?? The ending is a cliff hanger. DONT SAY I DIDNT WARN YOU. Im pretty proud of it for 2:30 AM work if i say so myself. Still looking for a Tyler and a Kurt. <3      Love Lisista.

Standing at the door was a tiny graying old lady holding a plate of something covered up with foil. Her eyes were a deep blue, and her eyebrows were dark, indicating she had dark hair when she was younger. Kurt was the one to open the door, and I was standing a few feet behind him. She pulled Kurt into a tight hug and said, “Is it true? Your little baby is back? Little Jessica?” Her eyes were squeezed shut.

“See for yourself.” Kurt said proudly. He pulled away from the hug and waved a hand towards me. The ladies small round face lit up with a smile and she took one hesitant step forward. Suddenly she surged forward giving me such a tight hug it knocked the breath out of me. Her arms wrapped tightly around me and for a few seconds I just stood there with a shocked look on my face. Ok yeah I should have hugged her back but I didn’t know her.

After what was probably minutes she pulled away, hands on my shoulders just staring at me. “You have your mothers eyes.”

“Thank you?” Kurt had grabbed the foil covered plate and took it into what I assumed was the kitchen. I followed the smell through the entryway and down a hall to a big kitchen. Everything looked new, and very silver. It was the kind of house you were afraid to leave fingerprints on. Kurt was unwrapping the plate to reveal brownies. Not what I was expecting, but ok. Brownies are good.

“Jessica, this is your grandmother Lidia, Sibel’s mother.” Kurt smiled, but his eyes were half sad when he said it.

“Oh hey! Nice to meet you. I’m Jessica, but most people just call me Jess.” Could this day get any weirder? Once again the doorbell rang. “I’ll get it.” I walked back the way I came and got to the door.

Opening I said, “Welcome to the house of-” Standing there was Tyler. Oh.

“You don’t have to look so disappointed.” He frowned.

“Alright let me try that again. HEY ITS YOU! Oh my god how have you been?” I jumped in front of him and gave him a big sarcastic hug, sending a current through my body. When I acted like nothing happened he looked confused. In one small second his eyes widened and I turned around to see Kurt, (or should I say dad? Ugg I dont know) standing there with a raised eyebrow. Great. Around the corner Lidia stood trying to hide a smile.

“Separation anxiety much?” Tyler coughed.

I smacked him on his chest, again shocking my hand, and felt a strong muscle under there. It took all my strength not to poke it. “Shut up your the one that gave me a hard time about not being excited about seeing you.” Turning to Lidia and Kurt I took a bow. “And that, my dear family, is called acting.”

For a while the room was quiet, then the guys started crackin up while Lidia just stood there smiling. “You have a sense of humor, just like your dad.” The little old lady told me. All I could do was smile at her. She turned to Kurt. “I would have brought something else but I wasn’t sure how much she would eat at the bon fire.”

“Wait, bon fire?” I interupter.

Tyler explained. “Verses having the whole pack come here to meet you and just having a bon fire with food and more space and not having to worry about noise? Bon Fire.”

“Well shit what should I even wear?” I trailed off. LITTLE OLD LADY IN THE ROOM! I smacked a hand over my mouth. “I said shoot...I really did. Pink swear.”

She just laughed and shrugged it off, “It’s fine honey, really.” Hearing the word honey made my heart throb. Don’t ask why. It just did.

“I can show you, after all, I was there when you chose everything. All. Day. Long. Hey Kurt, have fun with that bill.” Oh jeez..the shopping total. Now I really felt bad.
