Chase P.O.V

I brought the Frisbee back to the pups then I saw someone I thought I never see again. "Yeah, that's her name, uh Chase how did you know her name?" Marshall asked but I completely ignored him. I walked towards the grey and white husky. "Do you have the locket?" I asked. She nodded and showed me her locket. I buried into my fur and brought out a locket. "I never knew that was there." Marshall said. "Does it fit?" I asked. We joined our lockets together and it fit. "I...Iris" I said almost bursting into tears. "C.....Chase" Iris said. In the next second we found ourselves hugging each other. "Its you, its really you" I said "I missed you." "I missed you too." Iris said. The next thing we heard was an "Aww." from everyone. We backed up and blushed.

Iris P.O.V

I finally found Chase after months of searching I finally found him. "Chase I'll really missed you" I said giving him a friendly nuzzle. "Aww that's cute" the other pups say. "Okay, now we all know each other don't we deserve a story" Skye said. "Well, okay you do deserve it, Chase why don't you tell the story" I said. "Okay, I'll tell it" Chase said.

Chase P.O.V

So I have decided to tell them the story. It all started when we were pups.

Flashback (Iris P.O.V)

I had just finished singing "Family from Lady and the Tramp 2" to my little buddy Chase. "Wow, Iwis you have a beautiful voice" little Chase said. (giggles) "Thanks, I've been practicing" "Hey Chase, I have something for you." I said and brought out a locket. "Wow Cool, is that for me?" He asked. "Yeah, I have one too. It has both of our pictures in it mine in yours and yours in mine." I said giggling. "Cool. I love it!" Chase said excitedly putting it over his neck. "Promise to never take it off?" I asked. "I promise that way I can find you if I get lost." Chase said and hugged me. I hugged him back. (A/N: slanted words are flashbacks normal words are in the present)

"We used to have a lot of fun until..." Iris said and paused. "Until what?" Rubble asked.

Flashback

"Want to see what else I can do?" younger Iris said. "Yes yes." younger Chase chanted. Iris sang the doh re mi pattern and then appeared a musical note slide. "This is amazing!" Chase shouted " I wanna go on it!" Chase went down the slide. "Seems you guys are having fun." CJ said walking in with her sister Elise. They were Chase's sisters. "Can I have a turn?! Pwease! Pwease! Pwease!" Elise said pleadingly. "Sure you can!" Iris said. CJ was the eldest of the three of them, Chase was next and Elise was the youngest. They just kinda adopted Iris and now they stick together. Iris and CJ are the same age. They were able to defend themselves quite well being very young pups. "This is fun!" Chase shouted laughing. "Well it won't be fun for long." A human said appearing behind them. "There she is! We have to get her now!" Another one said pointing to Iris. "We have to run! Now!" Iris shouted and picked up Chase and put him on her back. CJ did the same for Elise. They started running and the humans chased them. "What's happening?! Why awe they chasing us?!" Elise said now crying in fear. "Can't explain now. We have to run and get to safety!" Iris shouted. CJ was about to speak when the humans started shooting guns. "Ahh! Iwis, get them away fwom us!" Chase shouted now crying as well. Another gun shot was heard which called Elise to yelp, jump off CJ and started running in another direction. "Elise! Wait!" CJ shouted and chased after her. "CJ, Elise! Wait! Don't leave us!" Chase shouted crying. Iris had no idea what to do she was the cause of this. She decided she had to save Chase even if it meant...hurting him. Iris kicked Chase of her back and fired a beam at him. "Oof!" Chase said and fell unconscious. Iris quickly placed him in a bubble which caused him to roll away into a small town. "I'm sorry Chase." Iris whispered. She kept on running and used her powers to escape from the humans. After that, she ran for the hills.
Meanwhile...
Chase rolled to adventure bay and stopped in front of a pet store. The bubble deformed there and he lay there unconscious a pink spot forming on his ear. A woman with blonde hair came out and found Chase outside all bruised and sore. She gasped and quickly took Chase in and started to take care of him. "Katie? Please bring mummy a blankie." She said. "Okay mummy." A 4 year old Katie said coming in with a blanket skipping all the way. "Thank you, sweetie." The woman said. "Mummy, who owns the cute little doggie?" Katie asked. "I don't know darling. I just found him outside." The woman said to her daughter. Chase soon started to wake up. "Mummy! Mummy! Doggie's waking up!" Katie said excitedly. "Wha? Who? Where am I?" Chase asked. It surprised the woman that he could talk. "Mummy! Doggie can talk." Katie said. "I see that dear. So tell me, what's your name?" The woman asked smiling sweetly at Chase. "It's Chase. And I don't know where I am. Pwease, how did I get here?" Chase asked. "Nice to meet you Chase. You're in adventure bay sweetie and I'm not sure how you ended up here. I just found you." The woman said. "Hello Doggie! I'm Katie!" Katie said happily. Chase smiled sensing the kindness in Katie and started to lick her causing her to laugh. Just then, two adults came in. "Hello, what can I do for you today?" Katie's mother asked the adults. "We're here to adopt a pup for our son Ryder. Do you have any?" The male asked. "We do now. I just found one today and he's very nice and he talks." Katie's mother said. Katie's mother took Ryder's parents to Chase. "He's perfect." Ryder's dad said smiling. "Chase, you're gonna get a new home." Katie's mother said. Chase barked happily. "Let's take you home." Ryder's mom said.
