Chapter Three
School was over and here I am waiting for Kellen to show up. I am not a patient person, I used to be, but not anymore. Heck, I used to be a lot of things. And so, even though it was only 15 minutes of waiting, I was still feeling moody, and bored just standing there like a loner with no one to talk to.
After getting tired of waiting for him, I planned on just going home. Screw my art project, I could just sketch randomly. Who needs him anyway?
But before I could actually leave, someone grab hold of my hand and it was Kellen. He seemed out of breath somehow. Was he running?
"Sorry I'm late. One of the teachers stopped me from leaving class because my notes were incomplete. So I had to complete it before I left. Were you waiting long?" Kellen asked worriedly.
I bit my tongue just so my usual crude remark for that question wouldn't come out. And instead, I said, "Not really..." After saying that, I saw him smiling and he might have noticed that he smiled, which is why he had his blank poker face on again. What's wrong with smiling?
"Ok, well, my motorcycle is parked over there, so... .. ." Kellen said while pointing to a blue and white motorcycle.
"Wait, can two people ride on it though?" I asked dumbly. I never rode on a motorcycle and I'm kinda worried.
"Yeah. It was custom ordered so that it can be ridden by two people maximum." Kellen replied casually.
I didn't reply as I followed him towards his motorcycle. And damn he must be a rich guy. I mean, he owns a fucking BMW S1000RR HP4. That's like a $20,000 motorcycle! I mean, I'm not one of those girls who really pay attention to expensive stuff and all that, but I do know about this motorcycle! It's like the most waited for motorcycle of 2013! And did he say it was customized?
"Sweet ride." I said coolly while trying to calm my heartbeat that was practically beating too fast, that my heart might as well burst! I'm kidding, God, if you're hearing me please don't make it burst.
"Oh yeah, well, it was a gift." Kellen replied casually, while giving me a helmet to use. But I noticed he only had one helmet.
"Wait, what are you going to use if I use this?" I asked dumbly. I mean, what if something happened? He might get injured really badly. Not that I care of course.
"No worries. My house isn't that far, and I'm not a bad driver. But what's this? The school's heartbreaker is worried about me? Interesting." He teases me while we started to drive away from school.
I instinctively held on to him tightly and replied, "Says who? I'm not worried. Don't get so full of yourself. And who told you I'm the school's heartbreaker?"
He laughed loudly then said, "Right. For a moment there I thought you fell for me already. And nobody told me anything. I just heard a few guys cursing you for dumping them this week alone. I kinda figured it out myself."
I didn't know what to say. I opened my mouth and closed my mouth without replying. I felt like a fish.
And here I thought he was the quiet and shy type. But it turns out he's just the cool and flirty type. He sure knows how to be interesting. I just met him today, but damn.
And before I knew it, we arrived at the richest district there is in my town. So this is where he lives?
"You could stop holding onto me so tightly now. We're here." He told me smugly while trying to keep his laughter concealed.
I simply rolled my eyes and took the helmet off and gave it back to him, while clearly ignoring him.
I took a good look at his house, it was a three-story house that had those fancy white tall pillars at the front. And I saw all the other houses were quite big and fancy too.
