Kurt's POV
"Uh... is that the alcohol talking?" Zisteau asks, staring at incredulously
"No... it's just, how do we know we can trust them? what evidence do we have that this is actually happening?" I question
"I mean, were back on earth, aren't we? look around us, this is real"
"Maybe your right...."
I look up into the ever on going night sky, seeing a few dim stars appearing.
"I gotta get to work" I say, getting up and heading to the telescope.
"Right" Zisteau says
There's tension in the air, and I don't like it, but Z and I have totally different stances on this.
I don't want to believe this is real but, what if it really is? what sick person would put people through this?
I don't like that this is coming between us.
"Z... I'm sorry if I upset you or anything." I say, looking at the few dim stars that appeared in the night sky.
"No, no, it's ok Kurt. I understand that we'll have or different opinions." Zisteau says, sounding like he was right beside me.
I move away from the eye piece and prove my theory that Zisteau was right beside me.
"I love you" I say, giving him a kiss
"Love you too."
I go back to looking at the sky, only seeing one brightly shining star among the many dim, burning out ones.
I'm still unconvinced, how could this actually happen. I don't know if its even scientifically possible.
"Hey... Kurt, I'm gonna head to bed. I'll see you there soon, ok"
"Of course."
I hear foot steps behind me as Zisteau walks away.
I move away from the telescope and sit down in front of the computer. I look at the phone, sitting on the desk.
If I'm really back on earth, I should be able to call my relatives.
I pick up the phone and dial in my moms phone number.
It doesn't even ring once before a robotic voice goes off.
"This number isn't currently in use"
I hang up the phone and try to call my sister.
I get the same thing.
After I try a few other numbers, I'm convicted that this isn't earth. it can't be.
I get directions from the guard stationed outside the door and head to where Zisteau should be.
"Hey, didn't think you'd actually come here so soon"
I close the door behind me and rush over to the bed.
"This isn't earth Z."
"What?"
"This isn't earth. It can't be. I can't call any family or anything. This isn't real Z. It can't be."
"Wo wo there. Kurt, where's all this coming from?"
"What's happening isn't logical"
"Your starting to sound crazy Kurt... are you sure your ok?"
"I'm perfectly fine Zisteau. I just need you to believe me."
"I.. I don't know if I can"
"Zisteau...." I say with a sigh.
"Kurt... you've been really stressed lately. You just need some sleep"
I groan in frustration.
I head out of the room
"Kurt!" Zisteau calls
I have a guard lead me to where Notch is.
"What the hell is actually going on?" I ask, anger seeping into my voice.
"What?" Notch asks, looking overly confused.
"This isn't earth. What really happened?"
"Your right, this isn't. You deserve a real explanation"
"Finally" I mutter.
Suddenly I'm being teleported and I'm back with the rest of the group, Zisteau by my side. were all gathered in town hall, Notch behind the podium.
"What really happened is....."
