--2 WEEKS LATER--
SEAN POV
Mark left last week, and almost every day Avery has come to visit me after she works. It's been a pretty good two weeks. The doctors told me I could leave earlier than they expected, too. I've got a week left here!
Every day I can feel my body losing a little bit more strength. I hate being bed ridden all day, I mean sometimes they let me walk around the hospital but it's already hard enough with the scars. I look up and see it's 3, which is usually when Avery comes to hang out for a little bit. Luckily enough, I see my door open as I'm switching channels on the TV.
"Hey Sean, how are you doing?" She asked, setting her stuff down on the bench against the wall.
"I'm good. I have a surprise too! They're letting me out in a week! I don't have to stay a whole month anymore," A smile covered her face. Her smile makes me smile. We've only known each other for a little over 2 weeks but it feels like months.
"Oh wow, that's awesome. We can finally go on a normal person date," A chuckle escaped her mouth and she looked down at the ground, cute as ever. I feel like I'm being super creepy with all of this but honestly, who cares. I really like this girl and I think she likes me too, at least I fekin hope so. We start to watch TV for a while. In the middle of an episode of 'The Office', Mark texts me.
Mark: Hey man, I just found myself in a pretty sticky situation. Can you call me when you get time? I have a huge favor to ask you.
Sean: Uh yeah, give me a sec, Avery is here. I'll call you when I can man. Anything I can do to help, I will.
"What was that about?"
"Oh, uh, It's Mark. He need's my help with something." My mind kept running to things he might need. A place to stay, all the way over here in Ireland? Some money? I have no idea.
"Sean, if you need to call him then go ahead. I'm not busy at all today."
"Are you sure?" I really don't want to keep her here longer than she can be.
"Yes, I'm sure. I'll run to the bathroom." She got up and left, leaving me with the choice to call Mark or keep watching Jim and Pam be cute. I picked up my phone and dialed Marks number, just listening to the ringing while I hoped he was okay.

--About a week ago, when Mark got back to LA--
MARK POV
I decided that I wouldn't tell Amy when I got back, I wanted to surprise her. I was a few days late back anyway, so she really wouldn't know. My flight back landed around noon, and I was starving. Remembering that my car was in the car garage at the airport, I felt so relieved to not have to pay for an uber everywhere. I drove, yea that's right. I drove, because I'm an adult, to McDonald's. Not a great place but good enough when you're very hungry and it's the closest thing to the airport.
I drove home, and quietly unlocked the door hoping Amy wouldn't be on the main floor, and luckily she wasn't. I looked back out the door again, just a habit, and happened to see a really nice car parked a few houses down. I feel like I recognize it, but maybe I've just seen it on the road. It's a common car. I disregarded the car and shut the door.
I walked up the stairs and heard some, odd, noise coming from our room. I figured she was in there. I opened the door and saw her.
But she wasn't alone. There was another head poking out from under the covers. Our covers. Well, not anymore? Fuck. They were their covers. I immediately got more pissed than I ever have been in my entire life.
