Chapter 10

It was 6:00 p.m and the guys are suppose to be here around 7:00. Cain had told Bailey that we were going to a party, he said to dress like we normally do but just in a more country way..

It was about 6:50 now and the guys had just pulled up. "Wow.. You look amazing.." Cain said walking in with Jake and Nate they were dressed in t-shirts, jeans and cowboy boots.. Just the way us southern girls like them!

"Thanks" We all say looking at each other.

We walked out the door to the truck. We piled in and drove off. About 30 minutes later we arrived at a old house with a barn. I looked past Jake to a field where people were dance and siting around listing to the person sing.

"Hellooo... Anyone in there?" Jake said waving his hand in front of my face.

"I'm sorry.. I was caught up in the moment. Now get your hand out of my face." I slapped his hand and got out. He gets out after me. "C'mon slow poke!" He jogs to catch up with me, then grabs my hand. We walk down and see everyone either dancing or in a group talking. We sit on a hay bail and watch everyone. "Come with me." I stand up and hold out my hand.

He grabs my hand but doesn't stand up. "Where we goin?" He looks down at our hands then looks up at me.

"To dance" I smiled down at him and tried to pull him up.

"Can we dance later, I'm going to go talk to the guys." I rolled my eyes and agreed

"But when you see me dancin with another guy don't get mad." I turned and batted my eyes at him.

He pulled me back into his chest and whispered in my ear "I promise we will dance later." I shivered at his warm breath on my neck and turned to walk away.

I met Elena and Bailey out on the dance floor and began dancing with them two. I looked over where the boys were standing and saw Jake starring at me. I knew he couldn't resist.

Jake's POV

Man... She blows my mind. I'm crazy about her and she doesn't even know it. Her blonde hair brings out her tan skin and her Greenish blue eyes are amazingly beautiful. If something happened to her I don't know what I would do. She looks so happy dancing out there. The way the moon light is shining down on her she just looks so perfect. Out of every single girl I have laid eyes on, she is the one I would not be able to leave.

"Dude.." Kyle interrupted my thoughts. "You want a drink or not?"

"Oh what kind.." I stopped starring at her and turned my head to Kyle.

"Beer or Coke" I looked at him with a dum expression on my face he knows I don't drink so why even ask. "Man. Sorry for asking.." He handed me my drink and looked out on the dance floor. "There is a lot of people here."

"I know.. To many to count." I saw a blonde walking my way, I stood up to greet her. "Hey, sweet thang" I smile at her

"Hola.." She smiled at me and bumps into me as she reaches over me. She grabbed my drink and started drinking it.

"I'm glad I got coke and not beer you would have gone off on me of you took a big gulp of that." She nodded in agreement.

"So when you comin to dance with me?" She asked and grabbed both of my hands looking up at me. Those eyes..

"Right now." I grabbed her hand and pulled her out to the dance floor. We got to the dance floor, I saw Elena walking up to the singer she whispered something to him. Then he started singing 'See You Tonight' by Scotty McCreery her favorite song.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and she leaned into me. She is so special to me, I would do anything to protect her. Her arms wrapped around my neck I could smell her perfume it smelt like watermelons with a hint of flowers. As we swayed back and forth she leaned her head on my chest I could feel her heart bet we were so close. I could stay here for ever and hold her. If only she'd let me.

Shelby's POV

I love being here with him, like I said before he makes me feel safe, loved and happy. With his arms wrapped around me I feel like nothing can touch me he's my night and shinning armor. I leaned my head on his chest. He smelt like the store Hollister I love that smell. He bring the happiness out of me like no other guy could ever. Nothing will stop me from keeping him.

Jake Jones is mine. I have him to myself and I don't have to share him with Anyone. See Elena and I have to share Harry Styles because she loves him two. Even though I loved him first, but you know how it goes. Being here with Jake is perfect! He just doesn't know how I feel about him. I could stay wrapped up in his arms forever and never need anything else he's all I need and ever will need. Nothing can keep me away from him. The song was about over now so I lifted my head and looked into his eyes.

"Shelby Calloway, I love you." My heart stopped at the sound of that word coming out of his mouth. His deep voice and seriousness showed me that he really meant it.

"Jake Jones, I love you to." He smiled big and pulled me closer, he pressed his lips on mine. I think I really do love him with all my heart.
