Crush, Chop & Burn

Chase ran through the doors and shut them on Adam. "Good luck getting through. That steel doors thicker than your head." Adam punched the doors and they fell down. I shook my head. "Well that's another way to get in." Adam picked up Chase.
"Give me back my epod."
"I don't have it." Bree walked in with Adam's epod. I touched the floor and turned it soft.
"Hey." She greeted. Adam gasped and dropped Chase.
"You took my epod!"
"Taylor Swift mega mix? Really?"
"I find her soothing."
"Whatever." Bree rolled her eyes and walked away. Adam shot a laser at her. She turned and glared at him. "Oh, I know you didn't shoot that laser at me."
"Oh, sorry. It was a terrible mistake." Me and Chase looked at each other. A bad things was about to happen. "Just like your face." She super sped to him and pushed him into the barrels revealing Leo.
"Aaaaah!" Me and the siblings yelled.
"Aaaaah!" Leo yelled.
"Aaaaah!" All five of us yelled.
"Aaaaah!" Leo screamed running further into the lab. We followed him. We crowded around him. "OK I don't play this card too often but. Mom!" Davenport and Tasha walked in. Leo ran to her.
"Leo here you are." She looked around. "What is this place?" Her eyes landed on us. "Who are they?"
"They urm are a boy band I've been working with. Urm and the twist is two of them are girls." Leo and the women didn't look like they were buying it. "Alright. They're apart of a secret project I've been developing. Genetically engineered superhumans. Tasha, Leo meet Adam." Adam nodded his head. "Bree." Bree waved. "Chase." Chase nodded his head too. "And Danielle." I glared at him.
"Dani." I corrected.
"The greatest combination of biology and technology ever developed. I don't want to brag but I'm incredibly smart." Tasha looked at Leo.
"Don't look at me I told you to stay away from internet dating."
"So they're robots?" She asked. Me and the siblings gasped.
"Woah!" Chase exclaimed.
"Hey!" Adam exclaimed.
"Oh no she didn't!" Bree exclaimed.
"Robot!" I yelled slightly hurt.
"No Tasha. They're human. I've just given each of them a unique set of bionic abilities controlled by a micro chip implant in their necks. It sounds a lot more complicated then it is. See Adam is all brute strength. And Bree has speed and agility. And Chase has super senses and a superior intelligence. And Dani has all of their bionics combined plus a few others that none of us know about. It was her dad's idea to do this."
"Donald." Tasha walked towards him. She looked at us. "Hi." She grabbed Davenport and pulled him away slightly. "There are children living in our basement!"
"This is a scientific habitat. I mean look at it. It has a game room, a rock climbing wall. Anything a kid could ask for. I've created this place so they can train in the up most of comfort and technology."
"Its true. The toilets have seat warmers that talk." Adam added.
"What do they say?" Leo asked.
"Well various depending on-"
"No." Leo cut him off.
"Donald I don't know what to make of all this. Some new wives get surprised with a honeymoon in Hawaii or a cruise. Bionic teenagers were not on our wedding registry." Tasha said.
"Honey they have to stay down here for their own safety. This is all very top secret. But as soon as their training is complete, they'll be able to handle any crisis or problem the world throws at them."
"I want to go on a mission." I informed them.
"I want to go to the pyramids." Chase said.
"I want to go to Paris." Bree exclaimed.
"I want to go upstairs." Adam added. Leo spotted our capsules.
"Hey, what are those? Time machines?"
"No they're not time machines. Time machines were actually in the shop. These are my biologic regulated atmospheric chambers. Where my bionic creations live and sleep and eat." Davenport explained to Tasha and Leo. "Which reminds me its dinner time." He said to us.
"Yes!" we cheered. We got inside our capsules.
"Ready?" Davenport released the pellets. We started eating them. "These are my protein pellets. What ever they don't catch is tomorrow's breakfast."

Later we were doing training. I had already finished my session. So I had gotten a shower and changed into normal clothes. Davenport held an electric ball. "OK Chase enemy grenade 3 o'clock." Davenport threw the ball at Chase. He put up his force field.
"Hey! Why does he get a force field and I don't?"
"Cause if you had one I wouldn't be able to do this." Bree threw a bottle at Adam's chest.
"OK you guys take the rest of the day off. I'm off to go speak at a tech conference. Cause I'm awesome and I'm gonna have the speed boats detailed then I'm gonna get waxed." We all looked at Davenport in disgust. "Don't judge me." He left.
"Well me and Dani better get ready for school." Leo told us standing up.
"Oh! I have always dreamed of going to school. Passing notes. Going to prom. Breaking into choreographed dance numbers after math class." Bree exclaimed doing jazz hands.
"Yeah! All we do eat, sleep and train for missions. We're like human lab rats." Chase added.
"Come on. It can't be that bad." Leo said. We looked at Adam running on the big hamster wheel. "So you've never left this room." Adam joined us. Chase shook his head.
"I have!" I exclaimed.
"That explains the haircuts." Leo said. Bree touched her hair.
"I bet schools fun. You know except for books, classes and learning stuff." Adam said. I nodded.
"Its not fun when you're the smart kid." Leo told us.
"Well down here smart is considered superior." Chase told him. I looked at Adam and Bree.
"No its not!" We disagreed. Chase glared at us.
"Hey you guys should come to school with me and Dani. You can be my bionic body guards."
"OK." Chase said.
"I'm in." Bree exclaimed.
"Let's go." Me and Adam yelled.
"Not on my watch." The lab doors closed. "Laser brains." Eddie appeared.
"Aww shoot. We forgot about Davenport's creepy computer." Adam complained.
"I thought he was just in the living room." Leo told us.
"Nope. I'm everywhere." Eddie appeared on all the screens.
"In my shower?" Leo asked.
"Yep. And by the way nothing needs to be that clean sporto."
"OK. We need to shut that thing off!" Leo exclaimed.
"Never gonna happen." Chase started. "OK? Eddie is an incredibly complex-" Chase opened up the compartment. "-and sophisticated piece of machinery." Adam pulled the wires out. "It would take years before-" Eddie shut down. Chase looked at Adam.
"Sweet! I barely got electrocuted!" Adam cheered.
"OK come on. If we're gonna go to school we should shower first. Because two of us stink."
"Adam and Chase." I whispered to Leo. Adam and Chase sniffed themselves. They got in their capsules while I programmed them for the shower and clothes. "Leo can you press that blue button that says start on it." He pressed it. Shortly after, the three sibling stepped out of their capsules.
"Aww great. It gave me your underwear by mistake." Adam complained to Bree.
"Gross." She shuddered.
"What you complaining about?" Chase asked. "I got the bra."
"Ew." Bree shuddered again. Leo was laughing next to me. They got back inside. This time they came out in the correct clothing. We headed for Leo's school. Adam, Bree and Chase were fascinated by everything. I was walking normally next to Leo. Chase waved weirdly at two girls. "I can't believe we're actually at school. I am so excited." Bree saw a lunch lady walking our way. "Oh my first lunch lady." Bree hugged the lunch lady. Me and Leo pulled her off. "She smelt like fish sticks."
"Do me a favour and they to act like you've seen the world. I have a reputation to uphold here." He then got wedged by a football player. The football player walked away with his friend. "Good to see you too Steve." Two girls were walking by us.
"Hi I'm Bree. I like ponies and girl things." The two girls walked away. "Did you see that? I have besties. I can't wait to stab them in the back." I looked up and saw a girl struggling with her locker.
"Here little lady let me help you with that." Adam pulled the locker off and handed it to the girl.
"Adam!" Chase called him over to us. "Would you guys quit goofing off."
"Excuse me." I snapped.
"I meant Adam and Bree." Chase told me. "We're supposed to not draw attention to ourselves." The school bell went off causing mine and Chase's super hearing to go off. I shut it out. Chase was screaming while spinning around in circles on the floor. "Aaaaah!" The bell stopped.
"What's up with crazy?" Leo asked me and Bree.
"Him and Dani have Ultra sensitive bionic hearing. She can block stuff out he can't." Bree told Leo.
"What was that?" Chase asked Leo.
"Its called a bell. It rings every 40 minutes. 8 times a day. So have fun with that." Leo, Adam and Bree left.
"You OK?" I whispered knowing his ears were hurting.
"Yeah. Why didn't you have the same reaction?"
"I come here nearly everyday. I'm used to it. You'll get used to it soon. Hopefully." I helped him up off the floor. I pulled out my spare set of ear plugs. "Here just to be safe." I gave them to him.
"Thanks."
"We better catch up with them 3. We have gym." We met the others in the main hall after getting into our gym kit. The class were throwing hoops. I grabbed a ball and threw it straight in. "Nothing but net." I muttered walking to the others.
"I hate gym class." Leo grumbled.
"Why?" Adam asked. Leo caught a ball and failed to dribble.
"That's why?"
"So big deal you can't play basketball. Chess club is where all the actions at."
"Such a nerd." I whispered to Adam he laughed. Bree caught a basketball.
"What do I do?"
"Throw it!" Leo exclaimed. She threw the ball it hit a guy in the face. I winced when he fell down on the floor. "To someone who's looking." Bree ran over to the guy.
"Wow you caught that with your face." She said. She came back over.
"Just once I'd like to show these fools up and go NBA in their faces." Leo grumbled.
"Then why don't you?" Chase asked.
"Look at me! There's more meat on a dog bone!"
"Yeah but now you have us to help you." Adam turned Leo around to face the hoop.
"Huh?" Leo sounded worried. Adam grabbed Leo. "Wait. What?" Adam threw Leo at the hoop. "These are my good draws." Leo screamed. He got the ball into the hoop before falling flat on his back.
"Ooh!" Adam winced.
"Ooh!" Chase winced too. Leo got up and looked at everyone. They were silent before cheering.
"Yeah! I got mad skills!" Leo cheered.
"Good throw Adam." I praised Adam.
"Thanks Dani." He pulled me into a side hug.
