"Hey, Boy!" A voice shouted at me from down below.

My body ached like I had gotten one of Clois's beatings. My knees were still hugged tightly to my chest, and my face was buried in the space in between. My eyes opened slowly and painfully. The blue tint the moons had given the great sky had worn off, and everything was pitch black. I looked up completely, my face searching for whoever was trying to get my attention.

My eyes quickly adjusted and I was able to see Tiara near the base of the tree. Her hair was down now, makeup gone, instead of her corset and skirt she wore a small pink silk gown that hugged her curves. One thing that stuck out most was her beauty, the next was the fact she wasn't wearing any shoes.

"What're you doing up there? Your mother was worried sick about you. And the breeder girl too."

I looked around, and wondered how long I'd actually been gone. Naturally my mother would be worried about me, but why Maylene? I'd thought the breeder would hate me by now, but she didn't. And that lifted my heart.

I looked back down at her, those urges I'd felt before were tamed down a bit, and I didn't want to force her down like I had before. I just wanted to look at her. I moved so my feet were dangling off the edge, preparing myself to fling down to the ground. But Tiara stopped me.

"Be careful!"she hissed.

I laughed as I flung myself backwards, I had timed when a good time to pull out my legs, and I ended up landing perfectly, only a slight ache in my knees. She gave me a small smile," you are an idiot."

"Where are my Mother and Breeder now?" I asked softly.

"The Breeder decided to stay in the girls dorm at the school, the only room my Mother allowed for her. Your Father took your family home, suggesting that that's where you disappeared to. But I had felt otherwise." She snuck a side way glance my way as we started walking.

"So you have been searching for me?" I smirked and watched color sneak into her cheeks.

"Not the whole time. I snuck out of my room, but don't think you are special. I'm just a naturally caring person."

I nodded,"Sure. Princess, I think I owe you an apology for the things I said to you before dinner-"

The Princess was already shaking her head," Don't, everyone is always apologizing to me. And you of all of them don't have to."

"But I said things I shouldn't. You will be married to my brother in due time, and this isn't well. Blood means everything and-"

She cut me off,"No, I don't want Heath. I've told my Mother and Father this many times. I refuse. I am the youngest, and why can't Peter marry off? He seems to like Suskia. Love shouldnt be forced."

I shrugged,"Could you not grow to love Heath?"

Tiara stopped walking and sat down in the grass with a sigh," All things are possible, I don't even know why I'd share this information with you."

I smiled slowly,"You can trust me. This would not be the first secret I've kept from my brother. Let alone my family."

She looked up at me," I just, I don't want to wait for love, I want what my Mother and Father have. Something pure and undying." Tiara smiled sadly," Don't you want that too?"

I shrugged and took my seat next to her," I wouldn't know what love is. I have not felt it, and I don't want to."

"Are you saying you don't want a family of your own one day? Don't want a woman in your arms?"

I sighed and gave her a look of annoyance. Curiosity killed people around here, yet she didn't get scared. I thought about my answer, Clois had told me many times that I was the type if man that only a mother could love. He said I was a monster in every means and he knew so from the day I was born. First is a blessing, second is a curse. This wasn't anything I had ever thought of. I always wanted to be alone. Yeah, maybe I took interest in the females I'd seen around, but it wasn't anything about love. Just for the means of leasing myself.
