Chapter Four- Flirty Little Boy

“What was that with you and Niall?” Kaila asked me. “What was what?” I said, trying to avoid answering the question. “Don’t play dumb with me Kaylin, I KNOW you two held hands last night.” she said with a smile on her face. “What?! How did you find out?!” I said really scared. “I didn’t until now. Thank you” Kaila said. “Why you little...” I said while grabbing a pillow to throw at her. I threw it at her and she fell to the ground laughing.

Morning

“Knock, Knock.” I heard someone say. “Come in,” Kaila said wile I was trying to get up. “Good morning girlies.” Lilly said while walking into our room. “Hey Lilly.” I said back. “So what is your first class?” Ashlynn asked walking in behind her. “I have Vocal first, how about you?” I said. “Dance” Lilly said. “Vocal” Ash and Kaila said. "K see you guys for Lunch” I said as Ash, Kaila, and I left for 1st hour. When we got there, Niall and Harry were messing around. Since we didn’t know anyone else we walked up to them. “Hey guys.” Niall said looking at me and blushing. I blushed and looked at the ground. Hey guys” Kaila answered for me. “So you guys have first hour with us?” Harry asked. “Yep” I said, starting to recover. “Alright class sit down.” the teacher said. “I’m Mrs. Eden. We will start by singing a solo song. Who would like to go first?” she asked. None raised their hand. “Kaylin, is it? Would you like to go first?”. Everyone stared at me. “Sure um.. I’ll sing ‘Mary’s song’.” I say. “She said, I was seven and you were nine. I looked at you like the stars that shined in the sky, like pretty lights. Our daddy’s used to joke about the two of us growing up and falling in love and our mommas smiled and rolled their eyes...” I sang. When I finished there was a bunch of cheering and clapping. “Thank you Kaylin. Who’s next?” Niall raised his hand. “Niall you go next.” “I’m singing my own version of ‘You belong with me’ ” Niall says. “You're on the phone with your boyfriend he’s upset, he's going off about something that you said 'Cause he doesn't get your humor like I do. I'm in my room it's a typical Tuesday night. I'm listening to the kind of music he doesn't like he'll never know your story like I do. A bunch of other people sang but I kept thinking about Niall’s performance. When the class was over, Niall asked, ”What do you have next?” “I have Dance” I say “I have swim team” Kaila says. “And I have Band” Ash said. “Oh well see you guys later” Niall says. “Why, what do you have?” I ask him. “Gardening. See ya.” “Well I have Band next.” Harry says. “Bye guys see you later.” I say heading off to Dance.
