Chapter 7

This is the next morning they leave

Kai's pov~

I couldn't sleep last night. All I could think about was if people would come looking for us. We all have to meet at the tree at Jenni's house at 5:15am its 4:45am right now so I guess it was time for me to leave.. Its a long walk to Jenni's. I left a note for my parents saying..
Dear mom and dad,
You taught me so much. I'm sorry I'm leaving you but I can't let kellen do this by him self. Mrs.Tina knows where we are. I don't know when we will come back but I hope it's soon. I love you so much.

(I started tearing up while writing that..lol I'm such a loser)

By the time I was done writing the note to my parents it was 4:50. I grabbed my stuff and walked out. When I got to the tree its was 5:17am and Jenni & Haley were at the tree. All we were waiting for was Kellen. Kellen showed up about 5 minutes after me. Before we were leaving we were going to open the box.

Jenni's pov ~
Once Kellen showed up we got the box out. The box was an old mint can. All the paint was chipped off of the can. On the side it said "Open in 8th grade" I gave the box to Haley for her to open it. Haley opened it and the four pieces of ripped paper that said our names in our 1st grade hand writing were in the box. I grabbed the piece of paper that said my name on it and it said....." I want to still be friends with kellen maybe even more. I wonder if he ever found out I liked him." Well your still friends with kellen and no he hasn't found out you like him...and your running away with him.

Kellen's pov~
I got to the tree and Jenni got out the box and gave it to Haley to open it. Once she opened it I grabbed my paper that said my name. I opened it and it said " I hope one day Jenni and I will runaway ." Well 1st grade me that's happening today.

Haley's pov~
Jenni gave me the box and I opened it I grabbed my piece of paper and it said " I hope I'm still friends with Jenni, Kellen, and Kai." Well I am still friends with them...I'm actually running away with them lol.

Kai's pov~
I grab my paper and it says " I hope Haley will fall in love with me and we will be together forever and ever." Well you aren't dating her but you still love her 1st grade self.

(I am so sorry I haven't updated in like forever. I had no idea what to write.)
