Once she got on the bus she scanned the seats for seat number 17. Logan has found her seat and sitting in the seat was her best friend ever, Alice Howard. Alice was a pretty girl, she had long dirty blond hair and she had purple glasses. Her father was the sheriff in there town, everyone knows that and because her dad is the sheriff she sometimes gets her ways.

"Hey." Alice said putting down her strangely looking book.

"Hey yourself miss. Book worm" Logan giggled while putting her book bag down and sitting on the leathery red seat.

The bus started up again and heads to pick up a few more kids before returning to there school.

"What have you been reading?" Logan asked looking for the book in her friends bag.

Alice smiled. "Nothing, and you're never gonna find it this time." But she knew Logan could find it, Logan was great at finding things.

She smirked. "Found it," Alice's smile quickly changed into a frown. "Aww, come on Alice how bad is this book.... Oh or is this your diary?" Logan said looking at the cover, it was black on the front and back and had a red band that goes over the book to keep it closed.

"No.... And my mom gave me that." Sighed Alice.

"Really?!?" Logan said as her eyes widened. Alice's mother was kinda a weirdo. She is what she calls herself 'The monster hunter.' She believes I. The supernatural stuff.

"Yeah, it's her journal, she gave it to me this morning and told me some pretty weird stuff," Alice laughed nervously, she loved her mother dearly but she wishes that she wasn't so crazy. Well her whole family on her moms side is crazy, well monster hunters. But they never caught anything, she thinks. "Well your not allowed to look in it," she said taking the book from Logan and shoving it in the book bag.

"Ok, at least tell me the crazy think that your mom told you," Logan gave her a big smile. "Please...."

"Fine," Alice sighed "she told me that today a strong power is unleashed and she wants me to go with her to find out what it is tonight." Alice finish with a worried look in her eyes. Logan was kinda surprised but Alice and her knew it was just the way of her mom. The bus was getting close to the school now.

"Well I can come, I can keep you company?" Logan asked while putting on her book bag.

Alice gave her a little frown. "I don't think so, it's kinda just a family thing I guess, sorry Logan."

"It's ok, I think I will just find something to do for my birthday." Logan sighed then smirked.

Alice gasped. "Oh my god I'm so sorry I totally forgot, happy birthday!" Alice squeezed he friend. Logan laughed in forgiveness. The bus got to the school and let all the kids off. Logan and Alice walk to the 7th grade hall together and as they walked people said happy birthday to Logan and she greeted them and said thank you.

Logan and Alice departed when they can to there home room classes. "Bye Logan, see you in 3rd!" Alice said waving bye and going into her classroom across the hall and sitting down beside her crush.

Her crush is a guy named Mason, he is tall and he has brown hair and brown eyes. Logan liked him to but didn't tell anyone or show how she felt, she knew how much her friend liked him.

She turned around and walked into her home room class and sat down with some of her other friends who all told her happy birthday.

As she sat down she felt light headed and she almost fell out of her seat but nobody noticed, so she just asked like nothing happened and moved on to talk with her friends.
