Clack, clack, clack. You heard the sound of your shoes as you ran down the alleyways. The only thing you could do was run. You knew if you turned back now you would never have any freedom. But why were you running? Let's go deep into your mind and find out.

Flashback

"(f/n)! Get down here now!" I heard my master, Alois Trancy, yell.

I was a maid at the Trancy estate and I regretted it. Every day only got worse as long as I worked for that abusive little brat. I reluctantly walked downstairs to where my master was.

"Yes your highness?"

"Where is Claude?" He asked.

Claude was his butler that he absolutely adored. But for some reason he despised Hannah, the other maid and simply could care less about Thompson, Timber, and Canterberry, the triplets.

"I'm not quite sure your highness. He might've went out to run errands." I replied looking into his piercing baby blue eyes. He smirked and then punched me square in the nose causing me to fall over.

"Haven't I told you over and over again never to look me in the eyes?!" He yelled as he repeatedly kicked me in the stomach. "You stay right here, don't move or I'll kill you, got it? He asked. I nodded. "Good girl, I'll be right back." He said as he disappeared upstairs.

He came back downstairs a few minutes later with a whip in his hand.

"Now since you've been a bad girl, you must be punished." He said looking down at me with a smirk.

Crack! I heard the whip as it hit me. Crack, crack, crack! The whip hit me three more times, this time breaking skin. I laid there as he whipped me and a tear escaped my eye by accident.

"Aw, does it hurt? It's okay, I've already done four, you only have forty-six more to go." He laughed at me with every swing of the whip.

When he finished he threw the whip at me and went up to his room. Blood was seeping through my now torn (f/c) dress.

"That's it. I've got to get out of here now." I said to myself as I slowly got up off the floor. I went into the kitchen and looked at the clock. '4:57, I've got time' I thought. I cleaned off the whip and sat it on the kitchen counter as I started to prepare dinner.

'Almost free'

Time skip to dinner

I had my escape plan. I was ready for anything. I knew this could not fail, if it did I would have to keep trying no matter what the consequences. Claude still wasn't back, so everything would work. Hannah and the triplets wouldn't stop me because they wanted me gone. 'Here goes nothing' I thought. I knocked on my master's door and entered after i heard a 'come in'.

"Your highness, dinner is ready. If you would please go to the dining room." I said nicely.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever (f/n)." He said as he went downstairs.

As he sat down I brought him his food.

"For today I have prepared oily fish and chips with tea." I said with a fake smile.

His face instantly lit up and he replied with a simple 'yay' as he ate. I made his favorite food and put more than I usually do on his plate so it would take him longer. Now all I have to do is escape through the tiny window above the sink. Before I left I looked at the clock once more. 'Time of escape 7:37, goodbye Trancy'.

End Flashback

So here you are running down alleyways with a torn up (f/c) dress and blood all over you since you had been too busy to change. You were about to cross the street to the next alleyway when...BOOM!
