DANIELLE'S POV

This is probably the best day of my life. Not only did Brody and I go get me a new car, a brand new Nissan Altima, but we bought a building for our little store. We're already working on it, setting tape down for where we want things. It's perfect because the building is long and wide. It's basically a rectangle, and there's a step down at one point, and that's where we are going to start the bakery. Our goal is to open it a week before thanksgiving. We're going to give flyers out.

Hopefully we'll get a rush on Black Friday. We both agreed not to quit our jobs until it actually opens.

We have money saved for this. We ordered everything we need and had it shipped to the building. We even ordered the letters for the sign. We ordered letters for the hourly stickers and Dad and Mr. Barker agreed to help Brody make three small rooms across the back of the building, one being an office, one being a restroom for women and one being a restroom for men. I work from eight in the morning until noon, and then I'm going to come in. We ordered overnight shipping for everything that was necessary. so they should be in tomorrow.

"Babe." I run to Brody and jump. He catches me. "I'm so happy today. This is the best day ever."

He grins, kissing me.

"I'm very happy, too."

He puts his arm around my shoulder.

After work, I ran home and took a shower, and I stopped at Arby's to get the guys some food, and right when I got to the new building, the UPS truck pulled in.

I park and get out, excited.

But to my confusion, it drives away.

I go inside and find everything already in there.

"He already came?" I ask, accepting Brody's kiss.

"Yes. He just left."

"I could swear he was pulling in when I pulled up."

"No, he moved and then he pulled out." He says.

Somehow, they already connected the plumbing to the bathrooms. Everything is already ordered.

"Okay baby, what do you want to set up first?" Brody asks.

"I want you guys to eat, and then, if you're not too tired, we can paint." I say.

They nod and I eat with them, and we put everything in the trash and Brody and I run to the store and get some paint.

We spend hours staining the actual store itself to look like an old store with wood panels. It had panels to begin with so we're just restaining them.

It takes a while to do that, and when it's done it looks so good. We paint the office a cream color, and the bathroom's the same color.

We have hardwood floor.

"Do you want to start that?" Dad asks, pointing to the wood. It's six at night.

"No." I say at the same time that Brody says, "Yes."

He looks at me, frowning.

"No, it's already six and you guys have been working all day. It's time we call it a day and start again tomorrow."

"I work all day tomorrow." Brody says.

"Then we'll do it another day."

He sighs.

"Okay."

We all say goodbye and leave, locking the doors. I take my car and Brody takes his truck.
