I woke up with being startled. See I'm a very light sleeper. I saw a shadow and I was about to scream they covered my mouth.

"Don't scream please. It's Louis." he said.

"Gosh Louis! You scared the heck out of me!!" I said and slapped him on the arm.

"I'm sorry but we need to talk?" he said and I knew.

"Lou you don't trust me! I never liked Niall like that!" I said.

"I know, now. I'm sorry. I really like you and I hope that we can still be together. Promise me one thing?" he asked. I nodded.

"We tell each other everything." he said. Crud. I can't tell him!

"O...ok." I said. I said and hugged him. Ugh! I can't tell him I mean I know I told the girls but I don't know. I might as well.

"Louis... I need to show you something." I said. I grabbed his hand and got out of bed. I was in my shorts and a tank. I lead him outside and to the back where the pool is.

"you said that we aren't going to keep secrets... so this a huge one that only the girls know." I told him. He nodded.

"Promise me... you won't tell the other boys?" I asked.

"I promise." he said. I nodded and jumped into the pool.

"Apex are you crazy?! It's freez..." he stopped talking when he saw my tail.

"Ummm I have... to... go..." he said and ran off.

"Louis!!" I yelled. He didn't stop. He got in his car and drove off. Shoot! Why?! I got out the pool and went inside. I went to Pay and the girls rooms and gathered them in my room.

"Louis knows." I said and they woke up.

"Why in the world would you tell him?! I haven't told Harry!" Pay said.

"He's my friend and boyfriend and he said that we couldn't keep secrets. He doesn't now about you and Jade, only me." I said.

"What if he thinks I'm a freak?! I really like him, maybe more than that." I said and was being honest.

"Call him on my phone." Jade said. She handed me her Android Razor Maxx. I typed in his number and the phone rang.

'Hello?' he said.

'Louis don't hang up we need to talk!' I said.

'Ok what? I'm kinda busy.' he said.

'Louis what you saw, you weren't seeing things. You said that we aren't going to keep secrets so I didn't. Louis I'm a mermaid. Either come back and we talk or you can think I'm a freak!' I said.

'Apex, I really like you. I'm coming back. Please no more surprises.' he told me and I could here the car start.

'Ok.' and I hung up.

"He said he's coming back." I told the girls. They nodded. About 10 minutes later Louis came home. All the girls left and we sat on the ground.

"Louis I'm sorry. I should have told you in the beginning. I really like you and don't want to lose you. I know that sounds mushy but it's true." I said.

"I think it's actually pretty cool but it took me by surprise." he told me.

"Believe when I became one it took me by surprise too. Please don't tell the boys. Also Payson and Jade are mermaids too and I want us to tell them together." I told him and he nodded understanding.

"I'm sorry I freaked you out by leaving but I just needed to clear my head." he told me. He moved closer by me. I looked into his beautiful blue/green eyes as he looked into my sky blue eyes.
