~;~ Pheobe ~;~

Chase sighed and looked over at me.

"Pheobe...I need you to meet someone." His eyes looked unsettled and guilt passed over his face. I wonder what caused him to feel like that. He didn't really have a reason to be guilty as far as I knew. I wondered silently if he was ending it and that racked fear over my body. I didn't want to lose Chase. We had been together almost a year and a half. A year and a half of my life spent on someone who just wanted to walk away. I sighed, looking into his bright blue eyes. His brown blonde hair covered his forehead. He looked exactly how you might imagine an angel.

"Okay. Who is it?"

"Her name is London. I need to call her, please hold on." He powered up his HTC and pulled up her contact photo. She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. "This is her. Watch for her." He then pressed 'call' and started talking on the phone.

I have never been so jealous of a girl. He looked over to me, sighing as she didn't pick up the phone.

"Head to class, I'll be there in a mintue." He smiled, kissing my cheek.

He dismissed me with his eyes and I climbed out the truck, storming away in my heels to go talk to my best friend, Karli. I was fuming.

~;~ London ~;~

Dimitri pulled me into the car, buckling me in and lacing his fingers in mine. His thumb stroked the back of my hand as he drove out into a feild.

"Where are we going?" My voice still full of tears. My eyes threatened to water, but I blinked away the tears. Looking at Dimitri made my heart pound, and his stroking thumb didn't help my fluttering hormones.

No London, I thought, You can't do this to yourself. Dimitri is just being kind. He's your best friend, you can't ruin that.

Oh stop being such an idiot. You're in love with him. Make a move, coward.

He turned to look at me, smiling his pretty-boy face off.

"Somewhere special." He grinned. This wasn't a smirk. He looked genuinely happy. I turned my lips up, not showing teeth, but I'm sure I was still glowing slightly. I started playing with his fingers absentmindedly as he drove. After a few mintues of following a path in the field, he pulled to a gentlye stop.

"Sit here, close your eyes." His red brown eyes bore into me, kinder than before. I shut my eyes gently, smiling at him. I heard russling and the door opening and closing. I soon felt a gust of wind from my door as it opened. Dimitri unbuckled my seatbelt and picked me up out of the seat. God, I forgot how strong Dimitri was. He picked me up in a simple motion. He carried me around the back of his truck.

"Can I peek now?"

"Not unless you want to see me without pants on." He joked, actually sounding a bit nervous for once in his life.

"Ew." I muttered

I felt him set me down against the side of his truck, my upper thighs resting against the protruding hub cover of the tire. I felt his smeltering body heat slowly get closer, as if unsure was he was doing. He set his hands at the sides of my shoulders.

"Open them." He told me. I shook my head no, trying to mess with him. "Please."

"Nope."

"Yes."

"No, D."

"I'll buy you greek yogurt." He knew that's my weakness. Damn him. Maybe I could have ignored it if my stomach wasn't growling.

"Damn it." I muttered, slowly peeking out of one eye a bit. "Promise?"

"Yes, I promise."

"...and a cookie?"
