I stared, then chuckled. "Ha! Very funny! You almost got me, too." I glanced at the wounded stranger in front of me, who had just claimed to be my 'guardian angel.' She looked utterly confused. "Heh. You're joking... Right?"
She shook her head. "What's a 'joking?' Is it a human laughing mechanism?" She asked, frowning. The joke suddenly seemed horribly less funny.
"You really aren't from Earth, are you?"
She seemed to bite her lip, pacing a bit and waving her hands as if in a conversation with herself. "Meeeeh. Kinda. I come from the Angelic Dimension, which is in a 'loop hole,' as you humans call it, around your Earth, leading to the Angelic Earth. Though I was originally a human child. I have no human memories, however, after I perished at a young age, and have been trained as the new being that I am, a guardian angel, or, more specifically, your guardian angel." She grinned, showing a toothy smile. I had to admit, if you subtracted the wings, she'd be like a normal person.

"So, let me get this straight...," I muttered after a few hours, now changing the bandages on Andy's wings, "Your name is Andy Bay and you're an angel-"
"Guardian angel."
"Yeah, whatever. So you're a guardian angel who was apparently sent to protect me from any harm that may come my way. Am I right so far?" I asked.
"Yep!" Andy replied cheerfully, though I saw something flash through her eyes. Was that... worry?
Nah. Just my imagination. I decided, tightening a bandage on her wing, and biting my lip when she jumped in pain, crying out pitifully. "S-sorry. Now, back to what I was saying, you can also control your visibility?" I frowned.
"Y-yes," she winced again as I tied the bandage, wiping away bloody streaks from her white, feathery wings with a small, damp sponge, "I can decide who can see me, and who can't at any time that I want. The only reason I let you see me last night is because I was too weak and numb to control literally anything."
I nodded, though a bit glad that I had seen her. She would have probably bled to death by now, alone, wet, and freezing. I hated the thought of that, even though I barely knew this supposed 'angel.'
"Is that all?" I asked, finishing up and wiping blood off my hands. She nodded. "Good, then let's go get some breakfast. I'm starving and too tired to cook."
