Your POV:
Negative thoughts had came to mind when you felt the love of your life flinch. 'What is he rejects me?', 'What if he hates me', 'What if he is scared and goes into shock?'. All those questions surged through your head, but you kept calm and realized it had been a solid 10 minutes and still no response from Gakupo. You sighed and heard a cute snore. You quickly recognized it to be his and you chuckled. You kissed his temple and laid him gently on the nearby couch.
-Two Hours Later-
Gakupo's POV:
When I woke up, I seen (y/n) no where in sight. I then heard a string of faint curses and followed it. Reaching outside, I seen my beloved. He had his cool wings stretched out and I guess he was practicing something. I was still shocked as to his real classification of species, but it's....I feel so far away from him...I feel like I don't belong in his world, like I'm just a nobody in his eyes. Even though I love him....I am willing to give it up for him to strive and find someone of the same species so be can continue on the bloodline of the Phoenixes.

When I turned around, I seen (y/n) still practicing, breaking a sweat as he learned his new capabilities as a supernatural being. I sighed and wrote a note telling him how I feel. I packed my bag and walked out the back door, leaving him and my love for him. My heart ached so much it suffocated me, I felt like I betrayed him...and...Like I betrayed myself.
