The Nameless Boy

And there he was. Just standing there, minding his own business but looking at every detail around him. And that's when I noticed he's in his own little world, doesn't talk to anyone, doesn't have friends or family and is never out the house.

Iv only just woken up and it's Thursday's which means only two more days until the weekend thank god.
I'm in my kitchen making Weet-Bix and that was when I noticed Nameless just standing outside his house staring up into the trees like there was something there, but I couldn't see anything. I just ignore it and continue making my Weet-Bix. I sit at the table and start eating them, once I was finished I put my bowl in the sink and notice Nameless still standing there and still looking right up into the tree. I wonder what's up there.
I turn around and grab my school bag, I put my shoes on and before I can tie my shoes I hear a knock at my door, I quickly get up and open it and I was so surprised who it was that I gasped and jumped backwards banging into my mum who was standing right behind me.
"Who was there?" She asks
I look at her and look back at the door and he was gone. It was like he was at the tree and felt me watching him and he came to my house to tell me to quit staring at him and just unexpectedly left.
"Nameless... Nameless was there mum, didn't you see him?"
"No Venus, I didn't see anybody there and to be honest I didn't even hear someone knock on the door. I only came here to see if your almost ready for school."
"Oh but I saw him there, he was there until I walked into you"
"Well why don't you ask him at school if he was here or not" She walks away into the kitchen and looks out the window "look there he is walking to school, why don't you walk with him and ask him?"
I walk over to where my mum is standing and I see Nameless walking like his usual self down the street. Maybe I did just imagine him at my door, just maybe.

I went to school and it was such a long day. I had the most boring classes with the most strictest teachers. Days like that just automatically make me into a bad mood. I was so happy when I heard the last siren go off, I walked as fast as I could out of last period mainly because Nameless was sitting behind me in the class and I could feel him staring at me the entire time which made me feel so uncomfortable especially after this morning.

I practical ran out of the class so I wouldn't be so close to Nameless while walking home. It did cross my mind to ask him if he was at my door this morning but firstly, he would think I was crazy if he really wasn't there. Secondly, he wouldn't answer anyway - he never talks to anyone. Not even teachers.
So I just ignored it and kept walking home like usual.

I got home and for once mum was home early and she had a cake mix box set out on the table with all its ingredients and equipment, she came into the room and told me that she thought we needed to spend more time together and that cooking was a 'great' way to do so.
It was a white chocolate mud cake so I really didn't mind, I was just glad that I was getting cake.
We started unboxing the sachets and I poured them into the bowl while mum cracked the egg into it, I put the butter in and mum put the milk in while I stirred it and added the white choc chips.
"Looks about right. You can stop stirring now" mum said as she put her fingers into the bowl and whiled it across my face
"Does it taste good?" She mockingly said but all I could do was giggle and do it back to her and by the end of this there was more cake mix on us then there was in the bowl but we still made the rest of the cake.

I went for a shower while mum put it in the oven to bake and as I was in there I played my music as loud as it would go from my phone which I always do in the shower.
'AND I JUST CANT LOOK ITS KILLING ME, AND TAKING CONTROL. JEALOUSY TURNING SAINTS INTO THE SEA SWIMMING THROUGH SICK LULLABIES' where the lyrics I were screaming/singing to my favourite song Mr. Brightside by the killers but just as it was coming to the next line of the song the whole song just stopped like someone had hit pause, I quickly looked out the shower screen but nobody was there so I quickly showered and got out.

After I got dress into sweat pants and a baggy comfy shirt I went back into the kitchen where mum had gotten out the already baked cake and set out the frosting for me.
"It should be cool enough for you to frost now, next time have a shorter shower"
I didn't even think I was in there for that long but oh well.
I grab a knife and cover it with the White chocolate frosting and I smother the cake in it, once the whole cake is covered in frosting I get the left over choc chips and put them around the cake with a V shape in the middle for 'Venus'
"I'm done now mum"
After I say that mum comes into the kitchen and sees the finished cake
"It smells so good V, and looks it too. I will put it in the fridge and we can have it after dinner" she puts it in the fridge while I go sit on the couch with the mixing bowl and a spoon and eat the left over cake mix even though it makes me feel sick every time, it just taste so good!
