ZEUS'S MASTERBOLT (BOOK 2-THE DRAGONS OF HAMELIN)

Pied Piper

It's ten years after the last attack on Hamelin by the dragons and Mr. Sleepyhead is living happily with his son ,Bromasali but one thing keeps bothering Mr.Sleepyhead and his son--and that is the dragon who had eluded them and gone to his father Uranus .

In all these ten years, the Bromberonsaur had meditated very hard inside the only Volcano of inactive bombs situated in the so called planet , Uranus . As his father had explained , the process of the termination of the meditation would start after ten years , and then he would have all the bombs in the world . It's uncomplicated for the children of any god to borrow few bombs . The Bromberonsaur kept meditating hard to complete his ten year meditation period . Even if one thing went wrong he would have to start meditating from the beginning .

In Hamelin, the next six days passed by as routine. The busy streets , occupied markets , green leaves tossing in the wind, luster - glossed berries and fruits all were a picture of normalcy. But this normalcy was to be short lived.
After a while the animals started acting weird, few ran helter -skelter , few ran out of the town, others were disobeying their master's commands .

Joe the scientist , saw all this and had a hunch that something was amiss. He knew that a storm was approaching Hamelin . He alerted everyone but no one paid heed to his warnings. They remarked , "Joe just because you are a scientist and know more than us, doesn't mean we are dumb. Don't underestimate us". After hearing this , he was heartbroken. Joe simply went to his house and sat in a corner. He started to analyse how foolish human beings were. " Nature always talks to us " he thought, "only we don't listen because we are too busy".

Then he started preparing for the incoming storm. He started searching for the best thing to do during a storm on his laptop's bespoke software, made by himself. He found out that staying low or under any table inside the house, would minimise the damage and help him survive. After a while, somebody knocked on his door , he opened it and saw Mr. Sleepyhead standing next to him with a sad face .

" Have you found a way to escape the wrath of the storm , son of Athena( the goddess of wisdom , architecture , and craft ) " asked Kshrityauyt.

"Yes , but the way is slight perilous " said Joe.

"As I am a son of Thor , I can sense the storm coming , please tell me how to avoid getting hurt" said Kshrityauyt.

"But you are the son of Thor, you can easily prevent the storm from coming " said Joe.

" I have already tried my best but I can still sense the storm approaching, there is some hidden power behind it" said Kshrityauyt.

"Hmmm do you know who it can possibly be " said Joe.

"It could be the dragon again or Uranus " said Kshrityauyt .

"It can be" said Joe.

Kshrityauyt simply left dejected from Joe's house after asking him what to do when the storm was about to approach. As soon as he set foot on the doormat of his house the storm appeared right in front of him. He was shocked as to how had the storm appeared so quickly when Joe had predicted it would come by midnight. He had no clue how to stop the storm . He would either have to go to the weakest part of the storm and then use his powers to finish it or simply die in the storm .

Well option one seemed better , so he went right into the eye of the storm using his flying powers , but when he went in , he saw a familiar face of a boy controlling it . He couldn't guess who it was.

He went up to that person and summoned the courage to ask him " Who are you?". " It's Pied Piper Junior " said the boy "The Pied Piper's son ? Impossible " said Kshrityauyt in disbelief.

"Yes it is me, Mr. Sleepyhead, The pied piper's son , now go away from here or you will be dead . Uranus has given me the powers to create any natural disaster at any time, so move away " said Pied Piper Jr.

" I will move heaven and earth to make sure Hamelin is safe " said Kshrityauyt ferociously

"Hahaha , you -- Kshrityauyt will save Hamelin? Better go home and go to sleep , Hahaha " said Pied Piper Jr.

" Let's see who goes home " said the enraged Kshrityauyt.

"Look who is talking " said Pied piper Jr. with a smirk on his face .

Instantly Kshrityauyt gave a zap to the Pied Piper Jr. but Pied Piper Jr had come well equipped. He had rubber hands , rubber shoes and a rubber cap to cover his face. The zap was absorbed. So Kshrityauyt used the wind and tried to pull down the cap and rubber gloves but they didn't even move an inch. " Oh sorry , I didn't tell you that these rubber things can't be removed unless and until I want them to , thunder man , I have come all prepared " said Pied Piper Jr.

Kshrityauyt played a trick, and fell on to the ground . He stopped his breath and pretended to be dead , well yes he was exhausted of flying and giving zaps . Pied piper Jr. laughed , stopped the storm and came down to the ground , he walked up to Kshrityauyt and kicked him just to make sure he was dead . But before he could kick him, Kshrityauyt punched him in the thigh as hard he could , Pied Piper Jr. stumbled , clutching his thigh in pain.

Kshrityauyt got up and gave him roundhouse kick . Pied Piper Jr. fell on to the ground and Kshrityayt pressed the reset button on his watch and the watch suddenly transformed into a sword made of imperial gold. Kshrityauyt said in an angry tone " I am always prepared " and then he tried to stab him. Just then Pied piper Jr. said in a very hushed tone " TP TELEPORT" and he disappeared just before Kshrityayt could stab him . He saw little powder around the place where Pied Piper Jr.had been down . He tasted the powder and he got a cold chill down his spine . He had a flashback of the bad things he had done in life that very moment . He now realised that Pied Piper Jr. had gone to helheim ( humans call it hell , scientifically it is called helheim ).
