ZEUS'S MASTERBOLT (BOOK 2-THE DRAGONS OF HAMELIN)

Explosion

When I went in I saw twelve huge people sitting on twelve humongous thrones .The thrones were in a semi circle, all the God's faces were locked onto me with stern faces except one , the God in the middle wearing a navy blue suit with black pants and I recognised the God as Zeus .

Everyone was quite and looking at Zeus for orders , he was quite for a moment and then spoke up and said " Hello Kshrityauyt my norse form ( people from Scandinavia) told me that you would come to me to seek help to defeat Uranus and Gaia" ( Uranus is the father sky and Gaia is the Mother Earth , they are husband and wife ) .

"Sadly I cannot help you as my main weapon , the master bolt has been stolen , I have no clue who has taken it or where ? So if you need help you have to help me first or you will have to continue the journey without me . Do you agree to help me or no "

" I do agree to what you have said but when I have returned the master bolt, you will have to help me ? Swear by the river Styx " I Said bravely.

" Do gods have to swear on the river Styx? " asked the almighty Zeus frustrated.

" Yes they have to " I said.

" Is it " he said looking dumbfounded.

" Ok , I swear on the river Styx to help Kshrityauyt after he finds and returns my master bolt , done " said Zeus now irritated.

" To gather clues can I see the place you had kept the master bolt before it was stolen " I said.

" Yes you can have a look at it " said Zeus getting a bit grumpy now.

Zeus snapped his fingers and they were in a mighty palace with transparent people floating in the air carrying or putting things back in place .

Zeus led me to a room big enough to house a 100 dinosaurs. He then showed me his shield. He turned it around and told me that this was the original place of the master bolt . It had last been there before it had gone missing.

I took one step forward and the wooden flooring sounded different. I tapped my foot again on the same place and tapped it again somewhere else . I tapped again where I was standing and I sensed a hollow below. I asked Zeus for a rod.

He got a rod , and we dropped it into the hollow where I told him. A passage opened up , that was leading downwards, he dropped the rod to check the depth of the passage . He dropped it but it was still in his hand as it was a slide leading down . I jumped on the slide and had an awful journey on it . It was stinking of sewage and the odour was worse than that of 50 dead mice.

When I landed I almost puked. I looked around the place, a dark dingy cave , and I saw a tunnel . I went inside and the tunnel was filled with various valuables such as pearls , gold bars , diamonds , silver , earrings and bracelets . Few humongous stalactites and stalagmites were also present to protect the precious rubies .

I got shocked by the jewels and got mesmerised by them .

I forgot about Zeus's master bolt and started appreciating the ornaments . Time flew past, I was still in the tunnel, when I glanced at my wristwatch ( a Swiss watch , which could turn into a imperial gold sword when I want it to ) I got shocked , a day had passed while I was in the tunnel and I remembered Zeus's master bolt and why I was here.

I ran deeper into the tunnel , I didn't care about the jewels. Just ran ahead , after a short run, I saw a pole with white marks on it .

I ran a little more ahead and saw another pole but with blue marks . I took a right turn then , I went deeper and deeper inside the tunnel took a couple more right turns and reached the beginning , the pole with white marks . I got so frustrated that I lay down on the floor , and guess what I saw ????????

A shaft leading upwards . I got up and tried to climb, but I couldn't because of the space . Only a kid could fit through it . A kid ????? that made no sense , why would a kid steal the master bolt ??????

I tried many ways to enter the shaft , but no I couldn't fit into it. I got very bugged and punched the shaft as hard as I could , and surprisingly the shaft spun until it came to a halt in the same place. But this time the hole was humongous. I climbed out of the tunnel into the shaft . There was a ladder hung , so I just held on to it and started climbing .

After about an hour of climbing , I heard a noise . God knows of what . Somewhere way above me . I got all pumped up hearing something, I climbed for the next hour hearing the same noises ( about ten times ) .

At that point I was very tired and saw a corner where I could rest for sometime. I lay down for about 10 minutes. I was in deep sleep when I heard a loud bang , TTTTHHHHHHHHUUUUUDDDDD!

I immediately got up, started climbing again and started following the explosion .

Looking at my watch , I was surprised I had slept for 2 days. This is what happens when you are a sleepy head.

After half an hour , I saw a small light from where the explosion had occurred . I released one hand and somehow pressed the reset button on my watch and the watch grew into the imperial gold sword . I climbed the rest few steps and simply entered the place from where the explosion came

And guess what I saw ???????????
