We waited and waited for what seemed like forever. Test, after test, after test. All negative. The doctor said with my previous complications, a 3rd child is a slim possibility. Definitely no more if I get lucky this time.
On a cold Friday in December, Bryan was out grocery shopping, and I had stayed home with Ollie and Finn. I hadn't been feeling well, so I called Bryan to tell him to pick up a test. When he arrived home, I waited until the next morning to take it. When Saturday morning rolled around, I took it first thing. "You'll never believe it!" I called to Bryan. He hurried into our bathroom and replied, "What!?" I responded,"It's positive! We both squealed in excitement! "We're going to have a baby!" Bryan said. I can't believe it.
