Make timelines, summaries, ideas, etc.

Making timelines is pretty easy for a story. All you need to do is put it in order. What happens first to what happens last.

EX.

1- Martha goes to store
2-Martha picks up fruit
3-Martha picks up milk
4-Martha pays cashier

or you can have it like this

EX.

1- Martha went to the store to pick up fruits and milk
2-Martha then headed back home to drop off her groceries
3-Martha's boyfriend stopped by

It doesn't exactly matter which way you do it but I like the second example.
