Erik's P.O.V
Oh God. What have I done. When the police arrived everyone was sent to their rooms and ordered to stay put unless in the case of an emergency.

They went around the whole theatre questioning every single person in the house, everyone except me. The three men left at around 9 o'clock in the evening after a gruelling 8 hours of questions and not many answers. I stood in the shadows glad to watch them leave my house except one thing in the trio alarmed me, they seemed to be taking a plus one with them.

How does that wretched girl manage to get herself into these awful situations! She is much more trouble than her worth! However I know that this is not true, if it were true then why was I worrying for her wellbeing and whereabouts so?

What did they possibly want her for? Rose had done no harm, not to anybody, nor do I think she ever will do. That girl couldn't even possibly harm a fly. So why would those oversized morons want her?

Wait.

You cannot possibly suggest to me that she is the one being accused of my crime. This is ludicrous and completely absurd! How can one innocent childlike girl be accused of such wrong doing after being the victim of that horrific mans drunken state.

I bolted through the opera house to find where Madame Giry whom was currently comforting the odd ballerina in the corridor who were shocked by the harsh way in which these monstrous men had treated them. After the last ballerina had disappeared I emerged from the shadows to tackle my elderly mother like figure for some answers go clear up my confusion.

"Good evening Erik, tell me why do I have the great pleasure of your presence?" She didn't even need to turn her head to know it was me who was behind her.

"Do you know where they're taking her? Or even on what grounds for Christ sake!?" I exclaimed in frustration beginning to pace up and down the length of the small corridor.

"I see you've taken an interest to our little Rose then?" A smirk graced the top corner of her mouth unwelcomingly.

"I hate to tell you; that that is not your place to comment on Madame." I rolled my eyes to the back of my head putting my head in my hands, for it felt like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders.

"I apologise, but Erik child, it doesn't take a genius like yourself to notice your overbearing concern for this 'nothing' girl, our dear Meg literally dragged her in off of the streets for heavens sake!" She laughed cattily crossing he arms across her chest very matter of factly. Anger rose through my chest. I gripped the edge of the wall so tightly as to contain my anger, that my knuckles began to turn white with stress.

"If you don't have anything valuable left to add to this conversation Madame, I shall be hastily on my way." I smiled through gritted teeth. I think she began to understand the severity of the situation as she next enlightened me on the matter.

"Those three monstrous policemen, decided to arrest for failure to cooperate. However they also have all the evidence to suggest that she is in fact their culprit; I'm sure you know quite enough about that though, am I right?"

"Did you say she was being held at the county police station?" I turned my back to the woman.

"Well no, I'm afraid I failed to mention that fact, but yes I believe that to be true. But Erik..." I interrupted her train of thought.

"Good day Madame!" I called behind me, before she could get another word in I had disappeared. In the Lord's name, that woman is utterly insufferable.

I would of done well to remind her that she herself was nothing but a commoner. Rose had much more inner worth than that woman, twice her age, would ever posses.

I had a more pressing matter to deal with despite morons.

She was trapped in a cell, after the horrendous evening which she had encountered. The saddest matter is, it's all my fault.

Rose's p.o.v---------

"Please..." I muttered beneath my breath. I was not going to cry. No way on this hell like earth was I going to give these demonic possessed creatures the satisfaction of my tears.

"What was that?! A confession?! We know it was you Miss McMillan, you would be making your own life a lot easier if you'd just give in sooner rather than later. Because you will give in. Mark my words we will make you confess. We have a lot of experience in this matter you see, we always seem to be able to twist the truth out of the culprit some way." Holding a simple flower between his finger tips, the largest beast twisted and crushed the flower to a point of no return.

"Give it a rest Johnson, there's only one way we're gonna make this one pay." The smartest looking man in the room, stood in the corner with a grin on his face. The 4 of us sat in a slightly lit interrogation room with only 1 roaring candle on the desk illuminating the place due to the lack of windows. My arms were currently handcuffed together by a piece of metal which was slowly and painfully gnawing away at my skin. My arms behind my back forced me to sit up straight, therefore causing my head to just naturally look to the ceiling, leaving me feeling dangerously cold and on edge, plus the strong sense of intimidation which was being pumped around the room, but I was not going to back down. I couldn't.

There was a heavy knock at the door.

"What is it!?" The beast named Johnson called through to the mysterious side of the door.

"There's some people here to see you Sirs, say it's an urgent matter, they're offering an award." A gruff voice called through from the other side.

"I'll be right there... Devey, come with me, Andrew, you keep an eye on the suspect." Johnson got up and along with the man named Devey, walked out the door.

I was left alone with the smart looking creature named Andrew. This was going to be an interesting few minutes.

"So McMillan, a pretty girl like you, what are you doing associating with the likes of Boquet?" He sat as close as he could to me on the edge of the desk.

"What's a girl like me doing here? In the grasps of beast like, demonic men?" I didn't look to his eyes but I knew that he was not impressed and that he was a believer of the phrase 'A woman should be seen and not heard.' I on the other hand, strongly do not.

"You have some stomach child, I like that." He grinned, his eyes wandering a little too south for my liking. Did no man have any respect any more?!

There was a second knock at the door, as to which Andrew quickly composed himself.

"What seems to be the issue?" He asked greeting a short man at the door.

"It's the girl," he replied" She's wanted." The next minute was a slight blur, as I emerged from the dark room into the dazzling light.
Once we'd wandered through a corridor for a short time, my hands still handcuffed behind my back, we reached a rather large room I assumed to be a waiting room, Andrew led me into it. But who on earth could possibly want me in a hell hole like this.

A fair skinned man with golden honey hair and black like eyes, stood as I entered the room. His eyes lit up with a strange fake version of joy. He began to run over to me who stood firmly in the doorway. As he got closer I saw he had a rather muscular build and had to be at least 10 years older than myself, plus he was practically as tall as a horse! He must of been at least 6'3. I had never met this man before. However, unfortunately the one whom sat in his shadow I did. The one person I aim to avoid at all costs in life, had found me here,

"Hello, my darling daughter." My father smirked.
