Chapter 4:

Tell me to move on? Oh don't worry, I've tried dearie. Doesn't work like that, and if you think I'm gonna move on from you then you have another thing coming. I refuse to let Roxas have you. I won't let it happen.

After catching up with the group in the middle of the carnival, Vanitas remained next to Ventus. "Uh.. What do I do from here?"

"As if that's my decision. I got you as far as you could go. It's all up to you now Vanitas." His brother slapped him on his shoulder for encouragement. "Go on, try again."

Vanitas knew his brother was right, so he puffed up his chest and went to talk to her again but before he could Roxas got to her first. "Hey Nami, wanna ride with me?" He stared at Roxas with rage in his eyes.

"Sure." She nodded and he put his arm around her shoulder. Next Roxas looked back over his shoulder and smirked at Vanitas, showing he had the lead.

Ventus placed his hand on Vanitas shoulder. "Next time. Just let it play out. You know she sees him as a brother. It won't get far." He walked ahead of him right afterwards.

Xion tapped Vanitas on the shoulder. "So I guess that leaves us together." She began to link arms with him and drag him forward. The young girl wore a black tank top with matching black leggings and boots, considering that was her favorite color.

"As if." He yanked his arm from hers and stared at her, with his eyes still filled with rage. "Don't touch me puppet."

"Hey! I'm not a puppet!" She shoved him and crossed her arms, tears filling her eyes. "I don't want them together anymore than you do!"

"Not a puppet? You do whatever Roxas wants you to do. You follow him like a lost puppy. So don't tell me you don't follow your master's commands."

Xion was shorter than Vanitas by a lot, she barely reached his shoulders. Although being  obsessed with Roxas since she first met him, she hated that his eyes were only on one girl. She never understood why, she was always there for him, listened to every conversation, his first best friend especially before she came along. He's the one who made her who she was. She use to be so shy and empty, but he filled that void. Now she was fearless and a still little shy, but when it came to Roxas, she wouldn't let him go.

Xion slammed her foot down. "I'm not a puppet! So shut the hell up about it! If you honestly want Naminè back you should stop insulting me and let me help!" The little girl stood up straight with her shoulders back and chin up. Not showing a sign of sadness anymore.

"Ha. Let you help. It's not like there's much you can do. Get out of my way and let me work his alone. I don't take help from little girls like you." He leaned closer to her slightly and flicked her forehead before walking around leaving Xion in her place. Her hand went straight to her head and she slightly lost her balance, before regaining her posture.

Both Xion and Vanitas were far from the group the longer they talked. "Little?!" Xion took the chance to tackle him from behind, knocking him over onto hard concrete below.

"You bitch!" His precious face hit the concrete and he quickly rolled over with her still on his back, but now she was underneath him. "Do I need to apply more weight! You scared my face!"

"Get.. Off.. Me.." Her breath was staggered. "Can't.. Breath.." Her arms were out to the side and she tried to push him off.

Vanitas clicked his tough a couple of times before deciding to get up. "Watch it next time or I might just 'accidentally' kill you."
