"Luhan." There was a little girl, ten years of age, in front of Luhan. She was smiling and repeatedly calling his name.
"Xiao Jie, please don't leave." Luhan begged. Xiao Jie's image was slowly fading from his sight.
"Luhan." He couldn't see her anymore but he could still hear her voice calling his name.
"Xiao Jie!"
"Yah! Luhan wake up!"
"Xiao Jie."
"Yah!" Arah shake Luhan to wake him up. He opened his eyes and saw Baekhyun and Arah who were anxiously looking at him.
"It was a dream." He got up from his bed.
"You dreamed of Xiao Jie again?" Baekhyun asked while taking his way up to the mezzanine to get his uniform. In his thought, he must be first to go to the bathroom or else, he'll suffer from waiting again.
"She's calling my name repeatedly.
"Who's Xiao Jie?" Arah asked out of curiosity.
"It's none of your business. Where's my breakfast?" He's being mean to Arah again. He stood up and went to the nook.
"What's wrong with him? I was just asking." Arah asked to Baekhyun. Baekhyun then peep from the window to answer her.
"Sorry for that. He's like that if it's about Xiao Jie." he smiled.
"Oppa. Who's Xiao Jie?"
"I'm not in the position to say things about her." he said. "But I'm telling you, she's our long lost friend."
"Long lost friend?" she only said it to herself. "More like she's his long lost girlfriend."
"Arah! Where's my bubble tea?" Luhan shouted.
"Crap. Just when this would be ended?" She's talking to herself again. "I'm sick of him."
"Kyaah~ Arah!"
"Yah~ chingu! What causes you to think so deep?" Miho asked as she noticed Arah who was looking outside and deeply thinking of something -or maybe someone. "Is it Luhan? Did you just have a fight? Well, it's not new to me."
"Of course not. Why would I think of that bastard?" Alright, she lied. She was like 'I lied to my best friend and I don't know why I did it', to herself. She's not totally thinking of Luhan. It was Xiao Jie who's bothering her.
"Liar." Miho said. I guess she really knew Arah well. She's quite worried to Arah. She's been like that since their first class considering that their 7th and last class has just ended few seconds ago. It's definitely unnatural for her to be bothered by someone she doesn't even know.
"Yah~"
"Aw~" Arah touched her forehead. Someone snapped her. Not a surprise. It was Luhan. She doesn't notice him in front of her. Of course she wouldn't. Her mind is not with her.
"I saw your mind flying far away. Want me to catch it for you?" He clapped once in the air for a catching approach. So comedic.
"More like catching a fly and not my mind. Stay away from me freak."
"Don't be mean to me. I'm your master." he pouted then gave a joke. "Ah~ you’re thinking of me." Arah did not answer but suddenly blushed when she saw Luhan's playful smile. She simply looked away.
"She's been like that since morning." Miho interrupted and stood beside Arah. "Something's bothering her."
"Like what?" he asked.
"I don't know. Maybe it has something to do with you." Miho said.
"Huh?" he said anxiously.
"Enough Miho." Arah stood up and gave her a fake smile. "There's nothing to worry about." Then she walked out.
"What's wrong with my genie-maid?" Luhan asked Miho but she just gave her an i-don't-know gesture.
'Yah~ Arah! Stop thinking of that girl. Why so bothered? You don't even know her.' Crazy. Arah was scolding herself but only said it to her mind. She was at the playground alone. She went straight there right after she walked out.
"Arrgh~" Out of irritation, she kicked the small rock in front of her. It almost hit a familiar lad.
"Careful with that. It might kill me." It was Baekhyun. See? It was a familiar lad. Am I right for using 'it' instead of 'he'? Never mind. It has nothing to do with the story.
"Babo. How would a small rock kill you?" she said. Baekhyun stood on the swing next to Arah. Yes, he was standing on it and swings it lightly. Can you imagine it? Well, I used to do that when I was young.
"Bothered with something? -or maybe someone. Is it Luhan?" he said.
"Yah~ you too Oppa?" she pouted. "Why do all people around me thought that I was thinking of that bastard."
"Because it's obvious." he said seriously. "Do you like him?"
"ahhh...ummm..eh?" She doesn’t know what to answer. "Yah~ Oppa! Of course not!"
"Ahaha. I was just kidding." For few moments, silence invaded the whole place until Arah finally spoke up.
"Oppa."
"Hmm?"
"I want to know.......who Xiao Jie is?" she said without looking at him.
"As expected, I know you'll ask that." Baekhyun said while wearing his smile of disappointment. Maybe because he could fell that Arah was starting to like Luhan. Though, she keeps on denying it.
"Huh?"
"Nothing." He removed his eyes which were stuck staring at Arah. Kyah~ I think I described it wrong. Let me rephrase it. He looked away. Okay, that's better. "Well, as I told you, Xiao Jie's our long lost friend."
"But to Luhan, it doesn't appear that way." she hid her teary eyes by bowing her head. She's stocked like that for the whole time.
"It's true, she's our long lost friend but to Luhan....." he paused for a while and looked back at Arah who was still looking at the ground. "She’s his first love.
Arah did not say any. For some reason, she felt hurt. Baekhyun then continued, "The reason why Luhan was here is because of Xiao Jie. He wanted to find her."
Arah stood up and aim to walk away but she stocked standing like a statue. She bit her lower lips to prevent herself from crying but it seems to be too late. Tears fell from her eyes and run through her cheeks. Baekhyun stood in front of Arah with his back facing her.
"Here's my back. You can cry on it until you feel better." Baekhyun said. Arah leaned her head on his back and did cry hard.
"I know how it feels. I have the same pain." Baekhyun's last words. That made Arah puzzled but she couldn't react because pain invaded her.
