I intentionally changed this chapter's title from its original. Specifically because, I feel bad for losing the original chapter nine. Mian Unnie-ah. I promise I'll try hard to remember the original one and also, sorry for always keeping you waiting.
"Luhan..." It was Baekhyun.
"Huh?" Luhan could only say this in his surprise.
"Can I talk to you for a second?" Baekhyun said seriously. Without waiting for Luhan's reply, he turned around and started walking away.
"Arah, wait here." Luhan said, smiling at Arah and followed Baekhyun.
"Eh? What's with those two?" Arah asked herself.
There was a complete silence between the two. Finally, Baekhyun thought to stop and Luhan, who was behind him, follows.
"How long will you stay like this towards her?" Baekhyun asked all of a sudden.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Luhan replied, innocently. Baekhyun faced him, looking mad.
"Can't you be a little more serious? You're playing too much with your feeling and so you ended up hurting other's without even noticing." he laughed sarcastically then added, "Or maybe you did notice but never paid attention to it even once. How could you be so insensitive, Luhan?"
"Could you be a little more straight to it?" he looked away, acting like he didn't understand what it was all about. "I don't understand even a thing."
"Mwoh? You don't?" Baekhyun got somewhat irritated. "You want me to be straight to it? Arrasseo. I know you like Arah. Why do you take things so complicated? Don't you know she... likes you too?"
"Leave it alone Baekhyun. You mistook everything."
"You're nothing but a hopeless coward."
"What? Say it back or..."
"Or what? You'll beat me? You're..." before Baekhyun could have finish, Luhan jumped after him to punch him hard. Baekhyun fell right after it.
"Alright, I like her. Satisfied?" Luhan retorted with his high pitched voice.
"You bastard." he pushed him back. "If you do, then why are you hurting her?"
"I'm not hurting her." he bowed his head like avoiding Baekhyun's glance. He sighed and took a deep breath. "It's just that."
"Is it Xiao Jie?"
Luhan couldn't answer. He knew to himself that Baekhyun was right.
"How long will you prison yourself from the past? C'mon Luhan, wake up. If Xiao Jie knew about this, she wouldn't like it for sure."
"But what about you? You like her too, don't you?" Poor Luhan, still thinking of Baekhyun's feelings. At least, he cares. "You'll be hurt."
"Babo, still worrying when unintentionally, I'm hurt started from the day you arrived."
"I'm sorry."
"I'd rather let myself hurt than see the one I like, live in pain."
They were like weighing the situation. No one was talking anymore. They became speechless for some reason.
"I gave up the girl I like once and if it is for you, I could do it for the second time." Baekhyun broke the silence. "Please take care of Arah."
"Hey, how come I didn't know you gave up your love before? Who is it? Tell me." He wraps his arm around Baekhyun and teased him like no beating had happened a moment ago.
