It's not often that I write poems, but I still do so once in a while.

Broken: A poem written in honor of Leelah Alcorn who committed suicide on December 28th. Me and my friends attempted to go all day in silence in her honor. I suddenly became inspired and wrote this. My friends thought I should post it online, so that's what I'm doing. *I did not know Leelah personally; her story just touched me as well as my friends and that led to my inspiration for this poem*

The Fallen Angel: This is what happens when I do a little soul-searching at school and get inspired. I don't even know where half of it came from (My mind obviously, but you know what I mean!)

Big Brother: I wrote this as a book report for the book "Nineteen Eighty-Four" by George Orwell. It makes use of 'the party's three slogans (War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery & Ignorance is Strength) and revolves around those themes.

The Moon Goddess: I was inspired by the night sky, the many deities of many mythologies, as well as just doing some soul-searching at the time I wrote this.
