Chapter 5. What now

"Zendaya.. W-what are you doing here?"
"I think the question is what is SHE doing here? How could you do this Trev? I thought we had something special.." I'm trying to hold back my tears but it's really hard. He comes closer to me and grabs my hands. "Zendaya relax, it's just my cousin" he says while looking me straight in my eyes. Like making out with you cousin is normal, heck no. Then the girl stands up "your cousin? Excuse me?! Who even is this b*tch?!" How dare she to say that! I walked up to her and said "listen here you trashy piece of..." I didn't finish my sentence, I'm better than this. I walked away turned to Trevor and said "you have some explaining to do Trevor" and walked out of the apartment.

I hear Trevor running towards me. "Zendaya wait!". "Coming up with a good lie?" I say while still walking. He walks next to me and grabs my hand. "Just stop walking for a second" he says while holding me back. I stop walking and looks in his eyes. I can't believe I stopped to hear him out. I shouldn't listen to his nonsense, he just cheated on me..
"You know I only love you Zendaya.. I.. I.."
"Okay if you're coming with that I love you stuff, you better stop talking right now because that's not gonna work" I only say that because I know it IS what's gonna work and I don't wanna fall for that.
We both don't say anything for a few seconds. I decide to just walk away without saying anything. I know he is not going to run after me again so I just go home.

I arrive at my house and immediately go to my room. I throw the door in its lock and I let myself fall on my bed. All I can do is cry. Then I hear my mom knocking on my door. "Are you okay honey?" She asks concerned. "I don't wanna talk about it" I say while wiping off some tears. "Are you sure?" Then I hear my dad coming "what's happening?" He asks my mom. "Just go away, okay? The both of you." I say and push my face in a pillow.
