I DON'T LIKE HIM

Chapter 2

Why'd I ask to go shopping with Niki,she is so impatient.She already has her outfit for the dance,but I have been here at the mall for only 2 hours.Geez woman give me a break.

"Oh my God,Alysia ,Janel ,Tucker,just pick a......WOOOAH. "She said as she stared at my outfit for the dance.

It was a cream colored dress,with rine stones at the upper part of it,and had a cream belt to separate the skirt from the top.

"You look gorgeous Aly."She said while still practically gapping at me.

"Why thank you,thank you very much"
I said with a huge smile.

All I need now is some cream colored pumps.

"Can't we get your shoes tomorrow."Niki said reading my thoughts.

"Nah uh! I might forget,so I'm getting it out the way,ok."

"But I don't wanna."She whined.

I laughed at that."After we head over to Shoe City our little mall trip will be over,OK."

"Ok then.Lets pay for the dress, and then get over to Shoe City.It's about to be dinner time at my house,and I can't be late."Niki stated.

It was true she can't be late,or else her mom will think we were kidnapped and killed or something.

I went pack to the dressing room and changed into my original clothing.After that,I went over to the cash register.
There was a women standing behind the counter who looked about eighteen.She had long,brown,wavy hair that had beautiful highlights.She looked awfully familiar

"Oh my gosh ,Aly!"

I looked at her with a nervous face.
I felt very embraced that I could not remember who she was.

But then I took a hard look at her,and realized it was Jane,my brother's ex girlfriend.

"Oh!Hi Jane how are you."

"I'm good,and you."She said as placing my dress in a bag carefully.

"I'm good.You and Hayden talk anymore."

She raised her eyebrows at me.Her mouth opened and the closed a couple of times before answering."Uh,no.Not really."She said nervously.

OMG!!!!! She still had feelings for Hayden.He did to.He just hasn't been the same.You see,my brother is a year older than Jane.And last year Hayden had just started college.Jane was still in high school though,and since Hayden decided to go all the way to Stanford,which is in California,they had to have a long distance relationship.
Apparently it didn't work out to well,so no one ever broke up with anyone.It kinda happened on its one.

But now Hayden is back here,in Wisconsin!He's now attending the University of Wisconsin.This means they had a chance to get back together.But,wait now she should be in college.Oh please say she's attending the University of Wisconsin,please!

"Ok well I should be on my way now.Nice seeing ya." I said with a wave.

"Honey is that you."Niki's mother called as we walked through the door.

"Yeah!It's just me a Aly."

"Great your just in time for dinner sweetie!"Ms.Smith is always chirpy and happy,and I love that about her.She's great to talk to,because she is always 100% positive.

"Yeah!What's cooking Ms. Smith."I said with excitement.Unlike my mom,she could actually cook.

She laughed and said,"Pasta,make sure to ask your mother for permission to stay over for dinner,OK."

"K.I'll text her."

I started to text my mom as my ring tone went off.(It's the gummy bear song)

No way!When did I ever give him my number.

I didn't know what to do.Niki saw me panicked,and came towards me to see who was calling.

Once she saw the name she gave me an evil grin.She tapped answer,and brought the phone up to my ear.

"Hey.Anthony.How ya doin."

"Uh.Good you."

Why do I feel so uncomfortable talking to him.This ends now!I am going to talk to him like he's a normal guy.

"I'm good."I said with a lot more confidence. "So,not to be rude or anything,but why exactly are you talking to me.We never really talk."

It was silent in the background for a moment."I just keep seeing you around school,and when I was going through my contact list I saw your name.So,I decided to call."

"Okay."I said stretching the word.It just seems weird for him to call me just outta the blue like this."

"So..."
"So..."
So..."
"Is this some kind of joke or something."

"N-no." He defended."I seriously just wanna talk."

"K well can I please call you back later.I'm eating with my friend and her mother,and it's kinda rude talking at the table." I wasn't really at the table yet so in a way I kinda lied,so now I felt guilty.

"Yeah sure.Bye."

"Well that was weird."I said to Niki."And don't ever answer my phone for me like that."

She just rolled her eyes,and walked off to the dinner table.

With that I texted my mom.
