The snowy winds tickled my rose kissed cheeks as Shawn and I walked to his house.

Usually, when the weather isn't bad it's really relaxing and peaceful to walk hand and hand with the love of your life.

"Hey babygirl?" He asked.

"Yes Shawn?"

"I have an idea."

"What is it babe?" I giggled.

"You know the park by my house?"

"The one that they're currently building?"

"Yeah, they finished it this morning. Do you want to check it out?"

"Why not?" I smiled at the ground as Shawn wrapped his arm around me, humming one of his favorite songs.

We raced each-other to the park swings as we shook the powdery fluffiness off of them.

I shut my eyes the higher I swung, my nose taking in the fresh cold breeze,--until I felt something cool and wet hit the back of my shirt.

"Hey!" I opened my eyes, slowing my swing. "Shawn stop that!"

"Stop what?" He asked, taking candid pictures of my on his black iPhone. "Stop taking pictures?" Shawn asked, pressing the camera button quicker than before as he giggled.

"No," I looked around confused. "I thought you threw a snowball at me.

"That's actually a good idea." Shawn stated, getting up from his swing.

"No Shawn wait!"

"What?"

Shawn looked up at me in confusion, as I felt someone continuously pelting snowballs at my back; my shirt was almost sopping wet.

Shawn looked around and spotted a guy standing behind a bush, still throwing snowballs at my damp shirt.

"Stop it!" I whined at the mysterious boy. "It's not funny and--"

A different boy chucked a snowball at my face. I rolled my eyes as I wiped it with my sleeve, anger boiling inside my stomach.

I could sense Shawn feeling the same way, but he played it off by making giant snowballs on the ground.

He's not typically the one to cause fights or drama.

He looks at me and smirks as he pelts a giant snowball at the guy that threw it at my face; evidently, he hit a sensitive spot because the boy cried in pain.

He continuously threw snowballs at them until they darted off to their houses, come to find out they were twelve year old boys.

I smiled and Shawn kissed my wet lips, pulling away laughing.

"We better go before those boys get their mother." The boy full of laughter looked behind him to see the boys pulling their annoyed mother out of the house.

Shawn grabbed my hand and we darted to his house, which wasn't too far from the park.

He pulled me into a warm hug and caressed my back, kissing my forehead.

"It's freezing out there babe." He smiled.
