This chapter is a change of POV. I thought it would be interesting to find out about Dylan's life.

My tutor was so boring today. She was just going over and over the same thing. I cant wait to go home, get ready and meet Brook. She's amazing and I really like her. Not in a girl friend way but in a I'd like to be really good friends. It will also be cool to see the people she hangs out with. I feel connected to her in some sort of way, like I've known her all my life or she should have been part of my like.
"Dylan pay attention" My tutor snapped.
"Sorry" I muttered.
"Just go home Dylan, something is obviously bothering you. I'll see you tomorrow" She said narrowing her eyes and pushing me out the door. I was so glad I got let go early because then I won't be late to see Brook. I got in the car waiting for me and it dropped me home. I climbed out of the car and ran up to my door. I opened it and ran into the living room. Mum, dad and Harriet were in there. Harriet is my little sister and she is 2.
"We weren't expecting you back so early" Mum said. I walked over and picked Katie up. She giggled.
"Miss Bunch sent me home early" I said. "Oh mum I'm meeting up with Brook today and a few of her friends".
"Ok baby" Mum said kissing my head and walking upstairs. I handed dad Katie over to my dad and ran upstairs to my room. I found my Hollister t-shirt and a pair of black jeans and my trainers. I grabbed my phone and headed out to meet Brook. She was sat on the wall with another girl. Brook had a knee length dress on witha floral pattern and a pair of flip flops. It wen't perfectly with her copper hair. The girl sat beside her has brown hair dip died pink. She has a pair of denim shorts on with a hollister top. She look amazing.
"Oh hey Dylan" Brooklyn called. I walked over to her slowly. As i aproched Brook jumped off the walk and gave me a hug.
"Hey Brook" I said hugging her back.
"Dyl this is my best friend Lana, Lana this is Dylan" Brook said smiling. I could see this girl ment a lot to Brook.
"Hi Dylan" Lana said putting her hand out. I took it and shook her hand.
"Hello" i said.
"We're waitng for three others then we will head to the coffee shop" Brook told me sweetly.
"Yeah sure" I said jumping up on the wall.
"So Dylan how old are you" Lana asked me.
"I'm 11 but i'm taught at a year eight level. Also afater my little sister was born i had to grow up a lot. Both my parents work full time so Katie is with a child minder all day then i pick her up once i get home" I told Lana.
"Wow. My life is simple compared to that. I'm the youngest of three. My brother oldest brother is 18 and his names Jayden then there's Keegan who is 16. I've had it easy. Two brothers who would do anything for me" Lana said. She seems like a really bubbly girl but i think there is something she isn't letting on. "Oh but yeah my parents are divorsed. I live with my mum most of the time and see my dad in the hollidays". Thats it. Her life isnt as easy as she says.
"What about you Brook. I don't know anything about you family" I asked her. The minuet the words left my life Brooklyn stiffened.
"My mum left me when i was about a week old and i havn't got a clue who my dad is. I live with Ashley, she was my mum's best friend before she left. I have Ash's brother and parents who helped raise me. They are the people i call my family" She told me, a tear leving the corner of er eye.
"WHO MADE BROOK CRY" A males voice yelled. I turned around to see a boy a lot taller than i am.
"Calm down Danial. Dyaln just asked about my family" Brook said flipping the boy off. He just huft and crossed his arm over his cheast. Behind him stood a girl with short blonde hair.
"Hey I'm Kayla, I'm guessing you Dylan" The girl said stepping closer.
"Yeah i am" I said.
"Well this is Danial, he's my boyfriend. Give him a while and he wont be so rude" She said throwing the boy an evil glance. "Isn't that right Daniel".
"Yeah, whatever" he said. "Wheres Josie".
"I'M HERE" A girls voice rang through my ears. I looked over as a black haired girl came running over. She was beautiful as well. "Hi I'm Josie".
"Dylan" I said.
"Come on them guys, lets go" Brook said. She linked arms with Lana. The girl names Kayla was walking with the boy, Daniel so I just started to walk on my own. It wasn't long before the girl called Josie came up beside me.
"Hi, I know Daniel can be a bit harsh sometimes but it's only because Brooklyn's had a hard life and we all want her to move on now. Her boyfriend left not long ago and it's not been easy for any of us. A new person joining us is massive especially after Sammy just left" Josie explained.
"I understand. I get that friends can become protective of each other. I get that Brook's life hasn't been grate and that she needs your support more than most. I'll try and get Daniel to see I'm not going to come in here and change everything" I told her. Josie seemed different from the rest like she was hiding some big secret that she had to keep. It seemed as if she knew something. She acts all bubbly and happy but really she's not.
"Don't worry, you seem cool" Josie said chucking her arm around my shoulder. I like her a lot.

So this is a shorter chapter but it gives you a look into how Dylan looks on life and how he feels about everything. Tell me if you want more of Dylan's pov or is you prefer having Brook's. I'm all up for doing any other characters pov, just tell me who you want and i'll try and get a chapter in from them.
