I turned around. I was relieved. It wasn't Chris. "Whoa! I'm so sorry miss! You look like my girlfriend from the back! I'm sorry!" I shook my head. "No! Its ok!" "Are you from America?" He asked. I nodded. "Me too!" "Cool!" We heard a girl laughing in the back. We turned and saw a girl laughing really hard. "Babe this isn't funny! I hugged a stranger!" He walked to his girlfriend and I went back to work. It was packing up for the day till I saw a whole bunch of screaming girls pass by. I was confused and walked home. Once there, girls were screaming and on the front lawns of 4 houses. Of course my house was one of them. I squeezed through and got in my house and called Kyle. "Kyle, you are not going to be show to get into the garage with the car. Girls are blocking the house." "Why?" "I don't have a fucking clue!" "No not that! I mean why girls!?" I laughed. "Oh! I just remembered! You have to dress in something nice tonight." "Why?" "Because one of the waiters I work with is a very nice man and he is having a party tonight at the café!" Girls started to scream really loud and I couldn't hear Kyle. "Hold on a second!" I yelled. The screaming went on for a few minuets but it felt like forever. Once it calmed down, I went back on the phone. "Ok I'm back. Like what kind of nice?" I asked. "No jeans. Like a nice dress, black pants, or something like that. Gurl! You should wear those black pants you have with out the buttons on the front, those black flats with the strap that goes over the top of your foot and that read tank top with that sleeveless leather vest!" I thought about it. "Yeah that would look awesome!" I said. I looked out of the window. "Hey the girls are leaving. You can come by now." I saw a car pull in. "I can see that! I'll see you in a bit." I hung up and grabbed the clothes and went down stairs. "Hay gurl hay!" Kyle shouted as he closed the door to the garage. "Hay gurl hay!' I said back. "Ok I need my black blazer with the pink collared shirt and my black tie, black pants, and shiny shoes." He ran up stairs and I brushed my hair. I grabbed my hair straightener and straightened my hair but put little curls at the bottom. I walked in my room and threw on my clothes and put some perfume on. I walked back in my bathroom and grabbed a bobby pin and pinned my bangs out of my face. "Ivey! Are you ready!? You have to fix my hair!" I walked down stairs. "You look hot!" "You too!" I said. He blushed. "Ok. Bathroom. Now!" We ran in there and I fixed his hair and threw on some red eye shadow, eye liner, and mascara. I put a little blush on and lip gloss. We walked out and as we passed the same house as I did when I went to work. I looked and I swear I saw a face but couldn't really make it out. I shook my head. Once we got to the café, there wasn't a lot of people. I was scared. "Ivey? Are you ok?" I nodded. "Don't worry. I'm here for you." I smiled and nodded. As the night went on, more people came and it started to get crowded and the sky got darker. All I had to drink was a cherry Pepsi and a small sip of Kyle's beer. I saw the time. 1 a.m. I went to find Kyle but when I did, he was grinding with some guys, having a good time. I walked up to him. "Hey. I'm going home." He looked at me. "You can stay. I'll walk home." He nodded and went on. I got out of there and started to walk home. I kept my arms folded to keep some body heat in. After a while, I saw my house. I walked towards it but heard something. "Hello? S-someone there?" No answer. I took a few more steps but the sound came back. "Ok! This isn't funny! Please stop!" Nothing. Just silence. I walked on and I was lifted off of my feet. I hid the neighbors lawn hard. Some on sat on me. I couldn't see his face really well. "Really? I think its funny." He brought his fist up and slammed it across my face. It just brought back memories of when Chris and my mom would do the same. He kept hitting me. I tried to scream. I managed to get a small squeal out. He stood up and kicked my stomach. "Shut up and I won't kill you!" He grabbed my hair and slammed my head into the concrete. I saw the blood coming out. "You ugly bitch! You need to go back to the place where you belong!" I saw him put something shiny on his hand. Brass knuckles. "Please. No." I whispered. He pulled back but something came by and tackled him to the ground. I saw the figure beating the man. The man stopped moving. I saw the blood coming out of my head. I touched it and the figure looked at me. I started fading as the figure picked me up. I heard the figure say, "I'll protect you, no matter what it takes." I was gone.
