Chapter 17

"Yes Harry, i'll be fine, now go"

Harry wasnt convinced that i would be okay while he went out. The whole half an hour consisted him of saying he doesnt have to go out and he'll stay here with me.

"Ive got loads to do anyway, i got to bath and put Lux to sleep, then pack the remaining bits of our suitcases for tomorrow" I said, and Harry eyed me carefully.

"If anything happens you ring me, okay?" He said, trying to fix the collar on his blue shirt.

I walked over to him, patting down the collar. He gave me a kiss on the cheek, before grabbing his keys and shouting to the boys down the hallway.

Lux was playing with her dolls so I went to run the bubble bath. The door opened signialling that Niall was here.

I walked out of the bathroom, going into the bag that Lou gave me, and took out Lux's sleeping stuff. I didnt speak to Niall as I unfolded Lux's clothes.

"While you bath her, i'll set your bed up" Niall said, walking past me to my bedroom. I noticed he had his onsie on and I couldnt help but thought he looked adorable.

I picked Lux up and took her into the bathroom. She giggled as I tickled her stomach. I took out her bobbles and took off her clothes. I left her in her nappy as i checked the temperature and added extra baby bubbles.

I took Lux's nappy off and put her in the bath. She squealed and started splashing the bubbles, making me laugh. I washed her and her blonde hair, and sat with her as she played for a while.

It must've been an hour before I actually got her out, wrapping her in a fluffy towel.

Se held my neck as I walked to the bedroom with her in my arms.

"Do you want me to take over?" Niall asked appearing behind me.

"no, ive got it" i mumbled, placing Lux on the bed.

I blew rasberries on her stomach as I powdered her, drying her from head to toe and then changing her. I put on her vest and onsie and then Niall came in with her bottle.

I turned the lights off and quitley sang to her in my arms, rocking her back and forth.

She fell asleep staight away, so i tucked her into my bed, securing pillows around her. I got my pajamas and quitley shut the bedroom door, leaving it open just a touch.

I rubbed my head as I exited it.

The sound of my phone came from the bathroom so i quickly answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey babe" Lou said sounding happy.

"Hey Lou"

"Hows Lux?" she asked.

"Yeah, just got her to sleep that second"

"Aw, thats great George thankyou so much for doing this for me, you're the only one shes good for" she said laughing down the phone.

"Anytime Lou, im just gunna settle down myself, bathing her and getting her to sleep has worn me out" I chuckled.

"Oh okay babe, Harry wants a quick word a sec"

I sighed as the phone was handed to Harry.

"Heyyyyy" I groaned at my drunken brother.

"Hi harry" i sighed.

"Now are you okay? i can come home?" Harry slurred.

"No, Harry im fine, i'll speak to you later, bye"

"Love youuuuu" he sang down the phone. I chuckled.

I got ready in the bathroom, and I could smell food, Niall was obviously cooking.

I brushed my teeth and put my hair in a messy ponytail. I put on my onsie and fluffy socks.

Niall was sat on the table, staring into space.

I started with packing the remaining bits for mine and Harrys suitcases.

After that I flopped on the sofa. And thats when Lux started crying.

I groaned loudly, standing up.

"I'll get it" Niall said, walking towards the bedroom. I sighed as the sound of Lux cries stopped.

Niall seemed to be in the bedroom for quite a while, and as i opened the door he was sat on the floor, cradling a sleeping Lux in his arms, singing softley.

The scene made my eyes water. He was so gentle and caring and i just wanted to hug him.

His eyes came to mine and i entered. He quitely put Lux back down and walked into the room.

I followed him as he sat on the sofa.

"You're gunna be a great dad you know" I whispered, sitting next to him.

"No i wont" he replied putting his head in his hands. "I mess everything up"

"No you dont" I said, rubbing his back.

He looked up at me, with watery eyes.

And that second I knew i wanted Niall. His blue eyes were crystal and his toned body wrapped around my small frame.

He looked up at Nialls eyes, as he looked down at mine.

And in that moment, that was the first time Niall had kissed me. His soft lips gently placed on mine, his body protectivley moving infront of me. He then entered his tounge and chuckled as I gasped at his movement.

He lay me gently on the sofa, securing his elbows on either side of my head.

He rested his forehead on mine as we both stopped for breath.

"Im sorry" he whispered, getting up. I sat up with him. I didnt want Niall to think that I didnt want that.

I pulled his head towards mine, this time i kissed him, and I could feel him smiling through the kiss. The sparks were astonishing, the butterflys were dancing in my stomach.

And that moment, I fell for Niall James Horan.
