A Thousand Kisses (Interracial)

Prologue  

 Hopefully you enjoy my story...I had fun writing it and hopefully you guys like it as well. Kinda short and sweet :p please comment and vote 

It was raining outside and Samantha pouted, she was supposed to play outside with her best friend today. She sat near the windowsill looking outside sadly, she was only six years old but somehow she understood a lot of things going on around her. Her light brown eyes jumped from the window when she heard the doorbell ring. “I’ll see who it is.” Her mother said clipping her hair up neatly and running to the door. She opened it and Samantha jumped from her chair, “Adrian!” She yelled out and ran to her best friend. They had known each other since they were born, “Sammy!” He said back excitedly and she ran into his arms and they hugged each other. “I thought you wouldn't come because of the rain” Samantha said relieved, her black hair was in two pigtails and her pink dress brought out her chocolate colored skin. Adrian had dark brown hair and beautiful green eyes and he was also the same age as she was. He had skin that looked to be perfectly kissed by the sun.  

“I would have been sad if you didn’t come.” Samantha said sighing as she led him towards where she had just been sitting. “I know! I’m sad because we are moving away” Adrian said looking down, he had become used to visiting Samantha every weekend and he would miss play dates with her. She nodded, “I know…I am going to miss you a whole lot.” She answered him. While they played their parents talked about things and said goodbye to each other. “Come on Adrian…Say goodbye to Samantha” His mother said hugging Samantha’s mom. Adrian went up to Samantha who looked really sad, “Adrian please don’t go” She hugged him tightly and began crying. “I’m gonna miss you…but make me a promise?” He asked her gently, “Yes” She replied. “Whenever I get back…kiss me a thousand times so I’ll know that you never forgot me” He whispered blushing. “I promise!” She said placing a kiss on his lips like she had seen her mother do to her father. He smiled and revealed his two dimples, “See ya Sammy” He said running after his mother. “Bye!” She waved with tears in her eyes as Adrian blew her a kiss from the back of the car. “Bye” He whispered against the glass and turned around when she was out of view.  

Samantha looked down and hugged her mom, “Mama…when are they coming back?” she asked sadly, “I don’t know sweetie” Her mother said closing the door and leading her to the kitchen. “Maybe way later in the future” Her mother said picking her up. “I know you’re going to miss him but he’ll be back and then you guys can get married!” Kristine, her mother smiled. “Eckkk!! Boys have cooties!” She squirmed out of her mother’s arms and ran away as her mother ran after her giggling. “The tickle monster is going to get you” Kristine said as she ran after her.  

When they stopped playing around Samantha still looked sad and her mother looked at her, “Don’t forget we can still send letters, emails, and call them.” Her mother said non-chalantly. She agreed and snuggled up against her mother and fell asleep maybe hoping that it was all a dream.
