Time skip 2 weeks. We're trying to wrap this book up at chapter 35 or so. The last chapters were fillers sorry :(.

Kara p.o.v

We landed in Minnesota, cold fucking Minnesota. We rented a car and I drove to my mother's house. Which is where we'll be staying for the weekend. When we got there i saw Luke's car. I walked to the trunk and got a bag before Vic could take it away from me.

"Vic, come on i want to help." I said taking another bag. He grabbed me by my waist and smiled.

"That's very grateful of you babe, but i can handle it." He said and kissed my cheek and then went to get the rest of the bags. I went to the door and knocked and my mother stood before me.

"Mija!" She screamed happily and hugged me. She was smaller than me by an inch. I smiled and hugged her back.

"Mami" i replied. Luke ran out to help Vic and my mom and I stepped inside. Stephanie was sitting on the couch watching tv with the kids. I smiled and greeted them.

"Hey Kara." Stephanie said. "Hey" i replied.

I went over to the kitchen to help my mom cook. I cleaned my hands and started chopping the Cilantro. My mom always made tacos on the first day we stayed. Vic came in with Luke, amd they walked to the room we were staying in while I walked over and started cutting the limes in1 half.

"Ma i can't wait to eat your tacos again!" I said excited, my mouth was watering as she gave me a piece of taco meat to try it. Luke came back with Vic. Stephanie stood up "hey Kara do you need any help?" She aske and walked in the kitchen "sorry, the kids were tired and told me to stay and watch tv with them"

I shook my head. "I'm fine, I think I'm going to unpack." I said as i walked over to the living room.

"Vic, umm why don't you meet my mom." I whisperd quietly. He looked over and nodded. He stood up and we walked back to the kitchen.

"Ma, I'm sure you've seen and heard of Vic Fuentes, my boyfriend." I said smiling.

"Of course! Oh my god you were Kara's favorite singer for years!" She said happily hugging him since she's 4'11 she was really small next to him. Thanks dad for being 5'9, praise, either way im still 5'5.

"Wow" he replied. "Ok mom i think we need to unpack" i said taking Vic's hand.

"Ok, make sure you come back, your aunt is coming later." She said i nodded and we walked to the room. We entered and it looked nice.

"So how long until we tell them?" He said sitting on the bed. I sat next to him.

"I don't know" i sighed. "Let's unpack and then we can see what will happen next." I replied resting my head on his shoulder. He nodded put his arm around me.

Somebody knocked and Vic kissed my forehead and then said "come in." It was my brother so i put my left hand under my thigh, so he wouldn't see the ring. I have to hide somewhere, maybe in my guitar case I brought. Luke snapped me out of my thoughts and i looked up at him.

"Hm?" I asked.

"I said, Stephanie and I are going to a small dinner maybe we could do a double date?" He asked.

I looked at Vic and he shrugged. "I umm well, sure.", i replied and Vic put his arm around my shoulders.

"We actually have news to tell you today." Vic said kissing my cheek. My face went pale and my brother gave me a weird look.

I looked at Vic. "Today?" I asked.

"Today, Hoy." He said.

"Well um ok. I just hope it's not anything bad, i gotta run, Stephanie needs me." Luke said and left the room.

I stood up and started pacing. I can't tell them yet, they'll freak. I'm twenty-three and getting married. Why am i over thinking???NOPE I NEED TO STAY CALM. stay calm.

"Why are you so nervous it's not like they're going to kill you,you're twenty-three, you're old enough to marry." He said.

"I guess, i just never saw myself getting engaged this young,but you're right, im old enough." I smiled and stood up.

I can do this. I will do this, at dinner, yes i will. We started unpacking some things for tonight. I thought about wearing a nice shit and a dress pants but when i asked my mom for a rating she gave me a -10. So now I'm wearing a navy dark blue short length dress that my mom got out of a drawer that had my old clothes from last year. I liked the dress, nice and simple for the double date we had. I'm also wearing nude flats and a silver necklace.

I set it on the bed and Vic came back from watching tv with Luke. They're getting closer, so that's really good.

"Hey, kara your mom just told me about your 'phase' you haven't gotten over, it's been what, 13 since you first heard a song from the band? How cute, you had a crush on me since you were a fetus child!" He laughed and poked my cheeks.

I blushed "That's not funny Vic!" I said. He laughed even more. His laugh is very cute and innocent, and when he smiles oh my god he looks like a little 3 year old, so cute! I laughed with him because well his laugh is contagious. My mom was problaby going to tell him more about how obssessed i was with Pierce The Veil. Oh my god it's going to be so embarrassing!

"So what should I wear to the double date?" He asked.

"Something classy yet simple." I replied.

He looked at the dress on the bed and his eyebrows raised and he whistled.

"Uh you're not wearing that." He said. "It's to hot and men will want to steal you away from me." He said.

I leaned in. "There's no need for that. I'm already yours" I replied and he smiled in victory and we kissed. Simple but passionate, that's what i love about when we kiss. Our lips parted and we looked at each other. I smiled and he kissed my forehead.

"Mine." He said smiling "all mine."
