I woke up to my dad knocking on the door, "JJ get up its time for breakfast" I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, got up and walked downstairs still wearing my oversized night shirt and a pair of shorts. At first I didn't notice the guy sitting at the table (the dude in the picture) he seemed unfazed by my presence, I sat down and began eating, he look a little off, wearing a scarf in mid summer, not to mention it covered his mouth? And long sleeves? Now that's what I call strange. I decided not to say anything I mean he might be new anyway- I was snapped out of my thought by grunkle Stan, "Tyler I'm gonna need you to hang these signs around town and JJ you help to" I was shocked at this, me walking around with a complete stranger? Wow grunkle Stan wow... I sighed and went upstairs to get dressed. I grabbed my satchel and packed the journal and headed back downstairs ready to get this now long day over with.

As we were hanging signs Tyler didn't say a word, not one! I mean how do you get along with someone if they won't even talk? "Hey?" I said, but he didn't answer. "Hey" I said I little louder, still nothing. "Hey!" I yelled. He stopped walking and just stood there, "hello are you gonna say anything??", "look a don't talk for a reason... So just leave me alone and let's just finish this.." He said in a slightly cold monotone voice. I simply nodded and we finished our 'job'. We began walking back but I saw a shadow looking thing run into the forest and let's just say... Curiosity got to me and I went in after it, Tyler followed but I have no idea why. I kept going anyway, I saw the creature walking down this path and of course I followed a good distance away that is till I step on some twigs, snapping them. It turned around and starred at me, I froze in place. Then it started running toward me, I shut my eyes and waited for the impact, one problem... I felt nothing. When opened my eyes Tyler was carrying me bride style and running from the monster like creature, yet his expression was emotionless, not a single hint of fear or worry on his face. Finally we lost whatever it was that was chasing us, Tyler was still carrying me and it began to get a little... embarrassing. Still he said nothing, I looked away from him and it looked like we were lost in the woods, it was beginning to get dark. "We should stop and make a shelter.." He said, I nodded and he set me down, I got the fire wood and he made a tent of some sort. When it was fully night I realized... I'd be in a small tent.. With a dude I barely know?! I sighed and just decided to take what I was given. Crawling into the tent I got as close to the wall as I could. Soon after Tyler came in and laid on the other side, before I knew it I had drifted off to sleep, I dreamless wonder land.
