Delighting in all of his quirks and flaws.

Staring at you in class for what seems like hours.
Blushing whenever he talks to you.
Lightly pushing you or brushing your hand in a desperate attempt to touch you.

Did he ever ask you out?
Walking up to you after class,
Or during lunch,
Or after school.
Stuttering like an old car engine before,
Somehow,
Asking if you want to go out with him?

Did he ever love you?
Whispering it to you during an especially quiet moment.
Caressing your face with the palm of his hand.
Kissing you lightly on the tip of your nose.
Did he ever love you?

Did you ever fight?
Yelling, screaming, throwing books at each other.
Over why his quirks are stupid.
Why your flaws are too.

Did he ever leave you?
Shoving whatever he had into a suitcase.
Yelling one last goodbye before leaving.
Slamming the door on his way out
