He hasn't come out of his room I mumbled looking down at the floor. It's all my fault. I'm the one who caused all of this. I bite my lip and thought for awhile thinking about what I should do. Once I figured it out I went into action. I made the pancakes and I was surprisingly really good at making them.  I ate a few and gently made two plates. One for Johnnie and one for mom. I gently placed them outside their front door so it's the first thing they see when they walk out. I then quick dashed downstairs to my bedroom and started to pack. I packed everything that was super important. Some clothes, a stuffed animal, makeup, hair product, money, and of course a picture of Johnnie and I. Once I was all packed I changed into a pair of clean clothes and started to write a note to let them know if or when I'm going to be back. I placed it under my moms favorite flower pot trying not to make it to obvious. Once that was done I took a deep breath and just ran. I ran for as long at my legs could hold me. They started to get week so I slowed down. I turned around to see how far I was. I looked all around trying to find a sign if I knew where I was. But I couldn't.  Nothing looked familiar. The people. The stores. Everything. I'm really gone now I whispered. I took a deep breath and kept on walking but my thoughts were interrupted by a buzzing. I looked down and my heart stopped. It was Johnnie.  He texted me. All he said was thank you for the pancakes. I said in relief knowing he didn't see the note yet and he finally came out of his room. I just locked my phone not answering him and just kept on walking.

~3 hours later~

I finally realized I'm in a completely different city when I asked a lady at a gas station where I was. She was worried at first but I just told her I got lost and I don't have a gps. It calmed her down a lot.  I found out that I was actually in Lynwood which is a few hours away from home. I kept thinking if I should keep moving or stay here since it's getting dark. I checked my phone and know one realized I was gone yet so that helped me with he decision. I walked to the closest hotel there was and asked for their cheapest room. Sadly I was about 200 dollars off. I asked the man If he would sell any blankets to me. He nodded knowing I had nowhere else to go. He grabbed one from the back. I reached into my pocket and pulled out all the money I could possibly find. Before I could start counting he gently placed his hand on mine and looked me into the eyes. He told me that I didn't need to pay for anything. That it was on him.  I thanked him over and over again feeling that I would have never gotten my point across to him. He just smiled like it was a normal thing to do.  After a few minutes of me thanking him I finally left to go search for a place to sleep. I kept walking down the street looking in ever nook and cranny to find a possible place. After a hour of searching I finally found a place. I was a small little alley with a lamp post and bench in it. I quickly run over to it thinking someone would steal it away from be. Once I reached the bench I covered up with the blanket and used my backpack as a pillow. I unlocked my phone and set my timer to go off in a few hours but after I did that I got a text I was not looking for. It was from Johnnie. He is asking where I am.

Sorry for such the late update I have been really busy with my school work and the play that I never really have any time to write but I finally got to finish this chapter and I will start on the next one.  Hopefully it was good!
