Chapter 10: Time with 1D

We got in the car and drove off. 

"So how's life back at Minnesota Lexi?" Liam asked me. 

"Well honestly I hate it there." I said sadly. 

"Why?" Niall asked, frowning. 

"Ever since Kendall left Minnesota I got bullied by some 5th graders." I said, playing with my fingers. 

"That's not right why would they bully a sweet little girl like you?" Liam asked. 

"It's alright now since I moved here they won't be able to hurt me again." I said, giving them a big smile. 

"Atta girl!" Louis cheered, ruffling my hair. 

"What's with you guys and messing up my hair?" I asked annoyed, fixing my hair. 

They just laughed as a response. 

We arrived at the mall and just walked for a bit. While we were walking around, looking at some stores, the guys attracted a lot of girls' attention. We were completely surrounded. I got trapped in the middle of it and the girls were pushing me roughly to move me out of the way to get to the boys. 

"Harry.." I called, but Harry couldn't hear me, he was trying to keep everything under control. 

"Easy girls, please!" Harry shouted over the loud screams of enthusiastic girls grabbing the papers he was given and signing them quickly. The other boys also seemed to be doing the same to keep the girls calm, while I was still being pushed around by the girls, I didn't know if it was by accident or if it was intentional. 

I felt panic starting to build up on my chest and I could feel it tightening. I couldn't seem to breathe because of the crowd. 

I felt someone pulling at my T-shirt trying to move me out of the way. I was about to turn around and tell the girl to stop, but she pulled me harder and I went crashing against other girls who just pushed me against others, saying things like 'watch your feet, kid!' or 'get out of the way!'. I was pushed once again but this time I didn't go against a squealing girl but against a girl that was taller, tougher and ruder than the others. The girl was utterly angry, she grabbed me by the arms and shoved me to the hard floor. I landed with a thud on the ground, my arms, knees and hands scraped against the floor. I couldn't help but cry because of how painful it was. Zayn had heard my cry and ran towards me, trying to make his way from in between the throng of crazy fanatic girls. 

"Lexi!" He called, "Are you alright?" He asked worried, bending down beside me and lifting me lightly. The boys heard him shout my name and immediately became aware of what was happening, they were all around me now, and Harry had taken Zayn's place. 

Liam inspected me looking for injuries. He looked at my hands, knees and arms gasped as he saw them. 

"Are you OK Lexi? does anything else hurt?" Niall asked when my cries subsided. 

I couldn't seem to form any words as i gasped for air, trying to breathe properly. 

"Where's your inhaler Lexi?" Harry asked urgently, panicking a little. 

With a shaky hand I pointed at my pocket and Harry quickly pulled out my inhaler and handed it to me. 

I took two puffs from it but it didn't do much, I still couldn't breathe properly. 

The boys noticed my discomfort and thought that it might be a panic attack. 

Harry dropped to my side, holding me in his arms. "Shh shh, everything's gonna be alright! Just breathe..." I breathed along with him, and started to calm down.
