Lance's POV:

I remember.. Hannah have to do a lot of things later this day. Also she's going to perform this evening. Argh. Its the first day of senior high yet why is she already this busy? Should i still wait for her? Where is she anyways?

Its 6:00 in the evening and im walking to the physics room. Is she still here? I start asking to myself.

I knocked at the door, and a few  seconds a small girl opened it.

"Oh! Hi Lance! Your in the right time! So.. Hannah's busy doing an experiment. We tried to stop her because its already getting late but she wont listen" she explained

"Yeah.. Thanks Nicole!" I said.

"That four-eyes" i murttered

I walked inside the lab to see her laughing hysterically while holding a pair of test tubes.

"Hey! How is it going?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Oh! Lance!! Hi!" She answered.

"That doesnt answer my question" i replied.

"Huh?" She asked innocently

"Whats that?" I asked again hoping to get a serious answer.

"A titan!" She yelled.

"Yes. Thank you" i said sarcastically.

"Your not interested?" She asked pouting.
"Well yeah! I forgot how boring you are" she added teasingly.

"Yeah right. You forgot that your going to perform at the orchestra didnt you?" I asked.

"Uhmmm.. Uhmm.. What orchestra?" She asked.

"Yeah.. You forgot. Lets go! Or else your gonna be late for that" i said grabbing her by her hand.

"But im not finished yet!" She protested.

"I dont care" i have no choice but to lift her up until we arrive at my car.

Hannah and I are childhood best friends. Since kindergarden we are always together. Separating us is impossible according to my mom.. Hahah.. And did i mention that we are neighbours too? Yeah.. Great isnt it? I dont even know why i became a friend of this idiot. We are very opposite.. But we cant live without each other.

"Should i still wait for you?" I asked her.

"Of course!" She said

"Is that my obligation?" I asked

"Yes!" She answered

"And why?" I asked again

"Because i told you so" she answered.

"Why would i even obey you?!" I asked a little irritated.

"Because you need to!" She answered again. I hate her when she talked like this.

"Yeah right" i said defeated.

"Because im your friend" she answered again.

"Yeah.. But you need to understand that im not going to be by your side forever" i told her

"There will be a time when we need to do things for the sake of other people. Even if it means being seperated by the people you love" i added quietly.

"Hey Lance?" She asked

"What?" He asked

"When that time happens.. dont forget about me, okay?" She asked.

"Of course i wont!" I answered, smiling slightly.

"Promise me!" She asked.

"I promise"
