Chizuru's pov~
She had all her bags packed up and was now trying to figure out how to fit them in with Hijikata's. Luckily everyone had set up their own transportation because there was no room for another person let alone more luggage. "Ready?" Hijikata asked removing his sunglasses. I nodded with a grin.
After a long car ride they sat and waited for their plane, which would also be a long ride. She yawned and paced. If she had to sit for hours she would make good use of this time. "Chizuru are you alright?" Harada asked. "I've never been on a plane before... So I'm kind of nervous." I admitted. Maybe that was also a partial reason for her pacing frantically back and forth. Hijikata hooked his arm around her. "It'll be fine. People get on planes everyday." He said kissing her in reassurance. She sighed and nodded. "I guess." She said. "Just imagine when we get there it's going to be gorgeous." Heisuke said. They had decided to go to Hawaii. She was a bit nervous because she knew little to no english. She sighed heavily again. She couldn't let this get her down though. No way. When their plane arrived they got on. Originally I was supposed to be next to the window but he insisted on trading leaving me in the middle and him next to the window. Heisuke was closest to the aisle. We got buckled and I was helplessly fidgeting. Hijikata slipped his hand into mine gently squeezing. I squeezed back. She frowned examining the seats. They looked very anti-cuddle. No seat was going to keep her away. When the plane started to move she gripped Hijikata's hand tighter and closed her eyes. When we were up in the air we were allowed to unbuckle. I sighed heavily. "See it's not bad." Heisuke said. "Yea I'm so excited to land." I said rolling my eyes. She messed around with her phone when she got a text. From Hijikata. "Look at Heisuke." It said. I looked over to see him already crashed. Mouth wide open and everything. I covered my mouth trying not to laugh. A flash came from Okita's phone. I moved the armrest separating me and Hijikata and leaned against him though uncomfortable she really didn't care.
When it was time to land Hijikata woke her. She never buckled faster before in her life. She was thankful when it came to a stop and she was able to get off. She stretched, her neck felt really sore. Almost like it could just fall of. We got all our bags and managed to get to a hotel in one piece. Everyone went to their rooms. When we went to ours my eyes widened. In horror and panic. It was definitely meant for couples. "Are you coming in?" He asked. "I'M NOT GOING IN THERE!" I said terrified. Roses scattered on the ground and hell there was a hot tub right there in the open. Someone had already brought our bags up. He pinched the bridge of his nose. "I should have warned you I'm sorry, This is the only room I could get." He said. "No way." I said muttered dreadfully. I eyed him suspiciously. "How do I know this is all some plan?" I asked. His face instantly turned red. "Chizuru don't be ridiculous." He said. "Do you really think I would do that to you?" He asked folding his arms. I sighed and stepped in. This couldn't be happening. He sighed himself. I looked around at the room. This was going to be a long week. "I'll be on the porch, I think I need some air." I huffed sliding open the door and stepping out. The sun was setting making everything a golden color. She took a deep breath letting herself relax and sit down on one of the chairs.
After a while she heard the door slid open. "You should unpack and then we can figure out what we're going to eat." She heard Hijikata say. She nodded standing up. Before she could get through the door he hooked an arm around her. "I hope you believed me." He said. I looked back at him. A small smile pulling at my lips. I cupped his face... on my tiptoes. "I believe you." I said. I know he would'nt. He had a lot of opportunities she almost had to wonder why but she never pushed the subject. His eyes softened. "Thank you." He said. She nodded. She unpacked and they got food and ate. After that there wasn't much to do but hang around in their room. I eyed the hot tub. "I know what I'm doing." I said digging for my bathing suit. I went into the bathroom and changed. I grabbed a towel and went out. "What are you doing?" He asked. "There is a hot tub in our room. I'm not just going to stare at it." I said turning it on. It bubbled and a light turned on at the bottom of it. I stared in awe.
I climbed in leaving my towel close to the exit. Hijikata went back to the book he was reading. I never felt so awkward in my life. Being alone with him and being alone with him in an obnoxious couples room was two completely different things. She sighed sinking further into the water. "Uh... what are you reading?" She asked curiously. Honestly the silence was just making her more awkward. "(insert book name. xD)" He said looking up from it again. "Ah..." She said. He sighed and closed it taking off his glasses. "How's the hot tub?" He asked. I grinned. "Amazing, especially since I kinked my neck on the stupid plane." I grumbled. He chuckled. "You should get in, I know you didn't really sleep today." I said. "I'm fine." He said. I frowned. "I've heard that story before." I said. "Tch, fine." He said standing. He disappeared into the bathroom with his swimsuit and came out in it with his towel over his shoulder. I felt my face heating up as I tried to recall ever seeing his chest bare. There was the one time in our past but he was wrapped in bandages which didn't really count. Suddenly she questioned why she would ask him to join her and well... Panic mode activated. She found herself moving into the far corner. He got in and sat down. He sighed looking at me. "Chizuru calm down." He said closing his eyes. "W-what-" He could tell!? "Your face could pass as a tomato and you look like you witnessed a murder." He said opening his eyes again. I gulped. "come here." He breathed. Slowly I inched closer. He grabbed my chin smiling softly. "It's alright." He reassured.
I took a shaky breathe. "I know but all of this..." I shook my head. "I know, and I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you alright? If you're this uncomfortable we can get a different room." He said. "I couldn't do that this room probably already cost so much." I said. He nodded. "What do you want me to do?" He asked. I honestly didn't know what he could do to make this situation easier on me. "Eh... I'm not sure." I admitted. "I could switch with Senhime?" He suggested. She frowned. "No no no. You stay." She said wrapping her arms around him. He chuckled. "I'll be ok I just need to get used to it." She explained. "Alright, just let me know if you decide other wise." He said. It made her more comfortable knowing he was willing to go through such lengths for her. After they got out they took turns in the bathroom. He let her go first. Once she was changed into pajamas and had her hair brushed she flopped down on the bed. She felt so drained. She looked up when the bed dipped and tried to worm her way over to him. "Chizuru... what on earth are you doing." He asked. She looked up with wide eyes. "I feel like a noodle this is the only way to get closer to you." I said making a determined face. He burst into laughter. "What would I do without you?" He asked wrapping an arm around me and pulling me closer. "Work yourself to death." I stated. "And you know it's true, don't deny it." I said pressing my face into his chest. "Alright alright. Go to sleep." He said possibly slightly annoyed but also in humor. I smiled but nodded. Tomorrow would be a busy day.
A/N: This is were I make everyone question my earlier statement on it staying fluffy. I am still sticking to fluff! The room was made that way simply for humor xD cause they are both naturally awkward about such things cx
