I turn to see the other 2 people at my side, the farmer from around the corner and Amelia- the Grocer's daughter down the street. Someone sniffles to my left, I turn and a small girl sits cross legged and wide eyed. We begin to move the last words I hear are my mother and sister shouting to me. I turn away and fall onto my side awaiting the heavens above.
I seem to be in constant sleep for hours, I awake to the sound of my cage rattling, I open my eyes and see a young man dressed in all black. He comes in a stabs me with an injection then leaves. It takes about an hour for me to feel alert in mind but not in movement. A stream of men enter and stand in front of the cages. One steps forward, he speaks with a heavy foreign accent but it does not matter. His message is crystal clear, I'm going to cheat death and they are going to help me. In return, me and the young girl undergo training, Raven training.
"Dear Diary,
If I cheat death great, but they've never actually done this before so I've got about an universe full of scientific experimentation on me. It's worrying and painful and I don't know which scenario is best."
