I woke up on the sofa, with the book on my face. The breeze was relaxing and the lights were quite dim, lullabying me to sleep once again.

But not before I realized that I'm still in the library!

Eyes wide, I quickly sat up from the sofa and looked around.

Nathalia is still nowhere to be found.

I yawned, stretched and straightened my azure uniform along with my tangled brown curls, and wiped my blue eyes off of morning glory.

I'm not as stunning as Nathalia, but I do outstand her in academics.

Naturally, she felt threatened and she took me under her wing to avoid having an enemy as good as me.

I shook my head and walked towards the place I last saw her.

And with a sweet smile and narrowed eyes, I said in a high-pitched voice,
"Dearie! I'm quite lonely and bored, are you still not done with your everyday routine???"

I looked over and dropped my smile with a startled scream.

Nathalia, pale white, lied unconcious on the ground with a contorted expression.

I ran over, checked for any head injuries and sighed in relief when there were none.

I put her arm around my shoulders, and supported her as I walked her to the infirmary.

All the other students are in their respective classrooms for morning lessons.

Us, two top students in the high school are permitted to do anything as we please, even skip the lessons and go out the classroom, thus we were in the library.

Nobody helped me of course, since no one was at the corridor.

To get to the infirmary we had to pass by the large glass windows that overlooked thousands of white roses.

It was beautiful yet unsettling since white flowers are often offered to the dead.

On the other hand, white means purity, where the school found its name.

The"Pure Angelic Academy"

Though nothing's so pure and angelic about it, since the school system is biased on the two top students.

Not that I'm complaining, of course.

Finally, I opened the door and greeted the school nurse, only to see that she's nowhere to be found.

I grumbled under my breath and set Nathalia down on one of the clean beds with white pillows and blanket.

I stretched and put ice compress on top of her forehead and sat down on the bed beside hers.

I dialed the number on my phone and waited for the other end to answer.

"Hello?"

"Hey. Why don't you come down to the infirmary right away?"

"Why?"

"I've got something for you."

"What?"

I smiled. "Why don't you see for yourself?"

I heard him sigh. "What is it this time Paulina?"

"Oh, I assure you. This time, it'll be a success."

"Fine. Only because I love you."

"I know you do. Now get your ass here. While the opportunity stands."

"Yeah, yeah." He hung up.

I looked at Nathalia, looking very innocent in her sleep. Far from how she is awake.

"Don't worry dearie. I'll make sure to solve your little problem for you. I'll make you popular beyond your wildest dreams, so much that even your family will notice you." I touched her cheek.

"I'll destroy you, as you have destroyed me."

I scratched her lightly making her frown to my delight.

I chuckled lightly and started mixing the chemicals, humming a joyful tune.
