I slipped up the satin glove on my left arm and gazed into the reflection of myself. The mirror seemed to patch up rough spots, because my dress looked straight and neat, my hair looked curly and flawless, and my height to be just so. My dress had tons of microscopic ruffles folds in it, my hair frizzed out somewhat, and my height was taller than expected. I sighed and pulled the end of my dress up to where it covered my thighs and simply lurched out. I carefully stepped down the stairwell, glancing uneasily at the crowd of people with jaws dropped.

"Introducing my daughter, Princess Ameliana White!" the Queen bellowed, her arms waving to me. I put on a phony little smile and waved to the cheering mess of wigs, hats, and tuxedos. Stepping towards the seats for the non-royals, a handsome young lad stops me. His blonde swept hair, his white teeth, his hazel eyes made me melt inside.

"Hello, love." he says, a slight smirk wiped across his face. "Care to dance?" He grabbed hold of my hand, leaving me dazed, but following him to do a steady waltz. He gripped my bum, and I yelped, swatting his filthy hands away. I quickly sped over to where I was in the desire to visit earlier. I sat in a seat that was somewhat close to the refreshment table.

About an hour later, I got ready to abandon my mother. I stood up, brushing myself off, when seeing another handsome young man. He sat about two seats down, and crossed his legs to where his knee poked out, while his ankle sat on his knee. I decided to sit back down and watch everyone again, mainly to connect with this boy. There was something different about him. Not your average fancy boy. Maybe he could've been a prince.

"Oi!" he cheerfully yipped, sliding down the spacing seats to greet me. I smiled phonily, but I could sense a real one surfacing. I focused on his facial features, just to know and remember him. He had brown hair styled in a quiff, with sky blue eyes. He had a bit of stubble over his chin, and he was extremely tan. Well, darker than my skin. He had pearly white teeth, and beautiful lips that were curled into a smile. I stopped staring.

"Hello." I say, the real smile surfaced. He asked about my life, I shot that question back. We exchanged names and ages, likes and dislikes, fears, and secrets. I knew everything about Prince Tomlinson. He knew everything about Princess White.

And that was how it started.
