Chapter 7

In the morning, I've been woken up by my mobile.

There was written: "You have a new message."

"From Asuka?" I asked myself.

"Hello, I just wanted to tell you that we won't be having the training today... don't ask why. Asuka :)"

"Great!!" I shouted. 

It was half past six. I slowly got up from bed and got ready for school.

I came to school and Toshiro was already there.

After the class I went home. At home I played the piano, singed and was doing all I wanted, because I finally had afternoon off. In evening I played piano a bit again, until I heard a doorbell rang. I ran downstairs and opened the front door. It was Toshiro.

"Hi..." I smiled.

"Hello... Umm... Would you like to go out?" he asked blushing.

"Yeah! Wait... I'm just gonna change... Come in!"

I ran upstairs and dressed my favorite checked red skirt with white shirt and black knee-socks. I brushed my hair and ran back.

"I'm back!"

"Great!"

We went to Karasu River. When we arrived everyone was already there. My band, Mina, Hiromi, Ichigo, Rangiku, Renji, Rukia, the only missing ones were two of us.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YUKI!!!" everyone shouted. I totally forgot that today is my birthday. Big tears formed in my eyes.

"Thank you... Thank you very much..." I said with a big smile. They were so great. I wouldn't expect that someone would remember my birthday and I would never expect a party. We weresitting next to the river, around a campfire, under the beautiful night sky full of bright stars, talking, laughing, singing and playing all the night. I will never forget this day. It was about 1 a.m. when we went home together. Toshiro again accompanied me, but this time we went to the Urahara shop first. Toshiro told me to wait outside. When he came back, he had something in his hands. It was packed and on top of it was a big red bow.

"This is for you... Happy birthday," he smiled and gave it to me.

"Toshiro... I... Thank you very much..." I gave him a big hug. We went home and there I opened it. The first were piano sheets. There was written The Heart Asks Pleasure First. It really pleased me, because I couldn't find them anywhere. And second I pulled out of big box was...

"Toshiro... but... this is..."

"Your own Zanpakutō..." he said. Now the tears streamed down my face. I hugged him with all I had.

"I will never forget on this birthday. All of you... you're so great... I don't even know if I deserve so much."

"You do... because...you are. You are here with us when we need you." As he said it I felt his breath on my lips. I didn't realize that we were so close, but it didn't bother me at all.

"I love you, Yuki."

I felt as our lips touched. I didn't resist. To tell the truth, I enjoyed it. I kissed him back and closed my eyes. After some time we broke for air. I opened my eyes and looked into his turquoise ones.

"I love you too, Toshiro," I smiled and hugged him one more time.

When I lay down in bed, all I could think of was our kiss.
