Chapter 11

Annabeth pov 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

"Hey " I said while Percy splashed me,I splashed him back so he could get a taste of his own poison.

"I'm the son of Poseidon what do you expect " he with his smirk that I became to love. uh oh I think I'm falling for my best friend

"Ya but that doesn't mean you can splash your best friend until she drowns" I said smiling

"Yes it does " he said tackling me to the bottom of the pool he made an air bubble for the both of us so that I could breath.

"What are you doing!"I yelled at him

"I wanna freak Grover and Thalia out " he said with a mischievous grin on his handsome face... nope Annabeth you can't fall for him

"Ok Fine just say what your doing before you do it ,so what do you want to do ?" I asked

"We could talk "he suggested

"Sure what's up with you?" I asked him

"Nothing much, you " he said

"Same, have you seen your mom lately "I asked

"No I haven't seen her in a long time, how about you and your dad" he asked me

"Um him and I aren't really close, could we um not talk about him " I said really quietly

"Oh yeah um sure " he replied with a worried expression on his face, after that it was just awkward silence.

"Do you think we should go back up" I asked

"Ya sure" he replied

He popped the bubble and pulled me back up to the surface of the pool.

"WHAT THE HADES WERE YOU TWO DOING, I THOUGHT PERCY WAS DROWNING YOU OR SOMETHING" yelled at us

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha" Percy and I laughed together

"It worked " Percy said between gulps of air

"What do you mean, what worked " Thalia asked

"We wanted to trick you, and it worked " Percy said

"Oh, well that was mean I though you killed Ann " Thalia said

"Do you really think he would do that, oh and don't call me Ann" I said throwing Thalia a nasty look

"Well he might have gone insane " Thalia said

"That is preposterous " Percy said trying to sound hurt

"That's a big word seaweed brain how did you know what it means" I said smirking

"Um I kinda heard Annabeth say it a while ago, so I thought I would try it out" He said his cheeks reddening

"Could you have more seaweed in your brain " I smirked at him in response stuck his tongue at me

"Come on its getting late and we need to get some rest for the quest tommorow " Grover said pointing to the clock on the wall

We all got out of the pool and dried of, we grabbed out stuff and made our way to the elevator.we got in and pressed the button to get up to our floor. we walked out of the elevator and trudged across the neat hallways to find our room.we took a couple of wrong turns thanks to Percy but we eventually found our room, Grover slid in the key card in its slot and the red light turned green which means it unlocked. I walked in the room and grabbed my suit case and found my pjs ,I went to the bathroom to go for a nice hot shower to get all the chlorine of of me.i hoped in the shower and let the water soak my hair, I washed myself and dries of, I jumped out of the shower and got my pjs on, brushed my teeth and combed my now clean and wet hair. when I got out of the bathroom Grover took it to also take a shower. I went over to the doors that led to the balcony and opened them, a smell of warm strawberries hit me. that made me think of camp, man I missed camp of course I wanted to go on a quest but I miss my home and were I know it's safe... we'll safe enough anyway, I miss my friends, I miss the training we got, I miss Chiron,i miss my siblings I miss everything in general. I guess I'm just worried about what's going to happening thought.

"It's nice isn't it " someone said behind me. I turned around and met and pair or the most amazing sea green eyes I have ever met. they were like the sea on a nice day when the waves are crashing in the shore lines make the sound we all lo...no Annabeth you any like him,I told myself.

"Uh ya it is " I said not braking eye contact. I guess I was caught in the moment cause I started to lean in and he did the same, we were only a couple of inches a part when...

" Hey guys what's up " Grover said while waltzing in on our moment

We both jumped a part and avoided one and others eyes. I looked at my feet while he looked the ocean both of us blushing madly.

"Whoa what was going on out here" Grover said smirking

"Nothing" we both said walking back in our room.

Percy and I avoided each others gazes and didn't talk to each other for the rest of the night it it was super awkward.
